No posts about the fireworks?  That was one heck of a ride last night. The bridge before the ridge was insane on the way back.   I was more worried last night than when I was in the North Atlantic on a sailing ship in a squall at 3AM.  That joke about putting a piece of coal in your backside and ending up with a diamond defiantly applied last night. At least we have some stories to tell.  Fireworks show was awesome.

Didn't go - our neighbors put on their own show.  But I was talking to someone else today and they said they had been going  all their lives and the boat traffic was the worst and most dangerous they had seen to date.

Are you referring to the bridge to nowhere?  If so, was it a no wake zone?  I would think there would be water patrol presence.

We went under the bridge to nowhere Saturday and frankly with the number of boats on the water and the relatively narrow passages the no wake zone made complete sense.  Maybe it needs to be "no wake when other boats are present" because if there aren't any other boats there isn't nearly the same level of concern for safety.  I believe there are warning lights to guide boaters during darkness.
