AOC is among those in Congress calling for a raise for themselves.  Even a GOP house member is "afraid" without a raise they will only get millionaires in Congress (forgetting of course that if you weren't a millionaire going in, you are a millionaire when you come out - or maybe you will stay forever).  

I have already written to my Congressional representatives to let them know what I think about this proposal and those that support it.  But I find it especially astounding that AOC, the worrier about the poor migrant detainees, and supports freebies for everything, finds living on $174,000 a year (not to mention the perks and investment opportuniities, good health care program and paid leave) difficult and thinks an increase is in order.  

Congressional members are delusional and so insulated, they have no idea what living in the real world is like.

Considering the job those folks have done I believe a 50 % pay cut is more in order.

As always, your responses are logical and should be seriously considered. Over the last two and a half years Demoncrats have done nothing but "obstruct". If they were filling a job in the "private" sector they would have been "fired" for not "supporting" the "goals and objectives" of the Company that "hired" them.
