We need to have some trees cut down.  I've called a couple of people and no one shows up.  Does anyone have any recommendations?  We are on the Real Island side.  Some of the trees are close to the house.

I've used Floyds.  Do a good job at a reasonable price but you need to be patient as they are pretty busy.

Contact Elmore Coosa County Line tree Service at 256-537-0574 or 334-541-4201. A neighbor hired them to do some tree work. They did a fantastic job. That week they ended up doing work for three more neighbors and a scheduled to come back and do some work for me and 2-3 more neighbors. I watched these guys take down a tree and curve its fall in an arc to keep it out of the water. When they leave the only way you know they have been there is your trees look great. The prices they give are unbelievable.

I have gotten quotes from floyd's twice. Both times I found others who did just as good of a job for substantially less. Floyd's is good, but there are others just as good that work for less money. These others have the same equipment, tools and knowledge and are professvvionals as well.

Thanks!  I called one guy early June and he was going to come out by June 24th, never showed up.  Have called him several times since then and no return phone calls.  Another said he can't come out until mid August.

My neighbor and I have used Drake's Tree service, reasonable cost.  256-749-0516, out of Alex City.
