I think we should make it mandatory for all politicians to give up Twiiter when they take office.

Frankly, I think most of Congress and a vast majority of Americans agree with Trump about the Squad.  None of these women have any experience in government, they come from extremely liberal districts and they fundamentally want to make the U.S. into a socialist country.  They seem to be of that generation that thinks that everyone should just listen to them because they have all the answers.  They have no real interest in the Democratic caucus, except to try to bend it to their will.  It's clear that even Nancy wants no part of it.

I'm noticing a trend regarding people of color.  On FB, I commented on a dress that Meghan Markle wore to an event, and I was immediately attacked by a horde of black women with name calling and accusations that I am racist.  Note, I didn't say anything about Meghan herself  just her dress.  It seems that every time someone disagrees with people of color, they are now branded a racist.  (Took me back, because frankly, I forget that Meghan is half black...she has done so much to her looks to not look black).

I agree with Trump - if these women are so unhappy here, they should leave the country.  They are not interest in recapturing the greatness of America - they want to tear it down.  We see this repeatedly in this immigrant issue - we are supposed to make things nice for people that have no regards for our laws.  I don't hear these women crying out about our overcrowded prisons (populated mostly by people of color), or even the homeless (most of whom are American citizens), but worrying about the "inhumanity" of rounding up those who have already recieved notices of deportation, and the separating of their families (as far as I'm concerned, in the interest of not breaking up families, deport all of them).

I agree with Trump that they should have to make a declaration and application for asylum, before they ever leave their home countries.  This has been the procedure for a long time - not that you just show up.   They are not being abused in the detainee centers, they are being fed, they have access to water, they are not being housed in tents or exposed to the elements.  The only thing they can't do is wander around unsupervised.  It was their choice to come here - they could have headed south and asked for asylum in countries to their south - now if that doesn't make you go "hmmm" maybe you should think about it.

But back to Trump and the Squad - they are the racists, not him.

Trump's strategy is pretty obvious and that is why the left and the govt media are up in arms.  He wants to tag the Democrat party's main identity as these four members, all of whom are very unpopular with the right and independents.  Just think about, Trump has actually gotten the media and mainstream Democrats to defend racist, anti-semitic, socialist, profane, anti-American members of Congress!!  You simply cannot troll better than him and he lives rent free in their minds.  They hate the guy so much that they simply cannot control themselves.....it's almost like he has some sort of mind control over them and they are doing his bidding.

Ya think independent voters are gonna forget what the modern Democrat party stands for with these four in the forefront?  It's a spectacle to watch them fall for it every time.  And not just them, but the Never Trumpers and RINOs are likewise taking the bait hook, line and sinker.

It is so funny - Pelosi has gone from a water bottle with a D on it could win those districts, to being a racist - and now she is having to defend them.  Trump handcuffed them together with a handfull of tweets.

I disagree since Twitter is the only method of getting info from the horses mouth.  The media is so sad at representing what happens around Trump.  This is what drain the swamp looks like.  The swamp gets their panties in a wad about anything and responds that it (he) is racist.  No it’s not racist, and if you hate this country, please go to that place that pleases you.  Enough already, Americans are tired of th3 swamp.

I read somewhere (??) that a socialist group was formed after the Trump victory to get socialist elected by the dimokrap party in 2018.  AOC was promoted by this group and so were 65 other candidates, but AOC was only one elected to Congress.  It just so happens that AOC's "chief of staff" is the originator and power behind the group, and probably tells AOC every word to speak.  Has anyone else seen this?

Saw a video npt too long ago that claimed AOC is nothing but an actor paid by a sinister group to champion their vision of a socialist America that woud enrich them and do their bidding.

Looks like we now know where AOC's brain came from.  Interesting though, you can't see the puppet strings......

She was the brainchild of a guy named Cenk Uygur (see the group The Young Turks) which is basically a communist organization determined to overturn our Republic.  They started a group called Justice Democrats whose goal is to primary moderate Democrats in safe districts and replace them with socialists and other anti-American radicals.  It's actually a brilliant move because they are only choosing safe districts where they are sure their candidate will win if they win the primary.  They are just beginning and my guess is that after a few cycles we will have a fair number of Socialist members in Congress and more than a few in the Senate.

Interesting note:  Understand AOC will be challenged by a Jamacian born women, who says that AOC is screwing their district and is more interested in being famous than in representing their district.  Stay tuned.

As the younger generation get into voting and politics, expect to see more socialst candidates, who run on platform of freebee's and the Big government.  A friend of mine said to me today - "they just don't think like we do".

Which of the statements in the post do you disagree with?

What is the definition of a racist, if not a person who repeatedly engages in racist practices and makes racist statements?

Who are you, and why do you jump to the defense of an obvious racist?

There's nothing loaded in my questions to you. #45 is obviously a hard-core racist. His entire adult life is filled with racist business actions, public statements, and polical rhetoric.

His attacks on the women of color - all of whom are duly elected members of the House of Representatives, as well as American citizens, and who have the same right as he does to publicly criticize anything they wish - who have the courage to call him out are nothing but an appeal to his racist base, of which you apparently are a representative. Not all of you are aware of the racist nature of your attiitudes, but ignorance is no excuse. "Go back to where you came from" is an old racist threat that has been levelled at black people for decades. If you refuse to see that, you are willfully blind, which makes you complicit.

“...why do you jump to the defense of an obvious racist?” Is a loaded question and if you don’t realize that you don’t know what one is.

When you are constantly accused of something, you might as well be one.  HEHEHE

Calling someone a racist is done to make someone feel guilty and implies that you are an awful person.  The word has become meaningless.  EEOC, a federal agency, says that telling someone to go back to where they came from, is inherently racist.  It is when the person in question has done nothing to provoke someone saying that - like if you hear two people speaking Spanish in a store, and you approach them and say "Learn to speak English or go back to wear you came from".

But in this particular case, this Somali woman has repeatedly said complained about the United States.  She wasn't born here, she is a naturalized citizen.  I have always wondered by Minnesota has a huge Somali population - these are desert people and they move to the US and want to live where it is freezing cold a good portion of the year?  It's because Minnesota has the most liberal public welfare rules in the country.  In places where there is a huge Somali population, they have petitioned to follow the Muslim calendar followed for holidays instead of the US/Christian holidays that most of the country follows.  They don't assimulate - they want to be seperate.  They dont like it here, they want to change the country to suit them or at least the part that they occupy.  They like our welfare system and would like to see it expanded so they could get more and here is their representative in the Congress wanting to change the fundamental beliefs of the country to suit them - and OBTW, this portion of the "African American" population.  Most people who bill themselves African American, are not.  They were born here, they have never been to Africa, have no desire to live there and now want to be more equal than the rest of us.  Why do I say this?  They don't want the police to bother them for what they have decided are "petty crimes" which are against the law.  When they resist arrest, they want the police to treat them more gently than anyone else.  And if they aren't treated that way, they want the police fired and to be "compensated" by the city.  If they don't get what they want, they will riot and burn businesses and hurt people, because that is supposed to be okay because that is how they want to express their frustration.  They demand that they be given priority for admittance to college, no one should come after them for student loans if they don't graduate.

Now John Doe is thinking "that woman is obviously a racist".  But I am not.  I have consistently reached out to qualified people of color and tried to help when I could - promotions, education, experiences, etc.  I have one friend who was my mentor in college - he is a true African American - grew up in Nigeria and came to the U.S. to be educated - he has a PhD.  Is an active member of his community in positive ways; a public speaker; a writer, a Christian.  I've had many black bosses - yes, people of color who went to school, got their degrees, lived in a normal neighborhood, didn't riot, didn't get arrested, worried about their kids and getting them into a good school.

So when the word "racist" gets tossed around - and people condemn Trump and label him a "racist" - is he really?  Or is he just speaking a truth?  Central Americans brought their gangs with them when they came.  They aren't educated and a large number will end up standing on the street, hoping to be hired for day labor, and then they will send their weekly earnings home to whatever countries they are from.  Most won't go on a path to citizenship - because they don't want to.

You ARE obviously racist. The fact that you may not recognize your racism does not make you any less so. The arguments you make that are intended to establish that you are not racist (boiled down, meaning "I know a black person, therefore I can't be a racist") simply reinforce that embarrassingly, pathetically obvious fact. I am not trying to make you or anyone else feel guilty - that is a self-indulgent, negative emotion - I am trying (probably in vain) to get you to pursue just a little bit of self-awareness. As uncomfortable as that pursuit can make you, it will eventually lead you in the right direction.

I'm plenty self aware, thank you, and I know I am not a racist.  I find it amusing that you are judging me.  I know a huge number of Black people, worked with them, enterained them in my home, who do not believe in the BS that these "African Americans" are putting forth.  They aren't trying to get free stuff, they don't demand reparations.  They realize that they benefitted from the various programs for Equal Rights after the Civil Rights Amendment was signed.  They prepared for and took their opportuniities when they had a chance.  They don't blame anyone.  They nor their children are getting stopped or arrested continually.  They go to work and they go to church on Sunday, adn they buy houses or condos and live a very good life.  Some of them even came from the 'hood with ner-dowell parents, but they made an active decision that they wanted a different life for themselves and their children, and they made it happen for themselves.

I wonder, JohnDoe if you have ever been out of the state of Alabama?  Have you ever seen how people live?  Have you been anywhere in the world and see what true proverty looks like?  I have - I've been fortunate enough to travel all over the world and see what kind of hell holes people can live in.  They have no opportunitie, unlike this country, but they know that they are dependent upon themselve to live.

So get your head out of your posterior.

"I'm plenty self aware, thank you, and I know I am not a racist."

Lack of self-awareness would lead a non-self-aware person to believe that they are, in fact, self-aware. You clearly lack self-awareness, and you're unaware of the fact. The first step towards the solution of a problem is to recognize and acknowledge that you have it. You haven't yet reached that point, but there may still be hope.

"I know a huge number of Black people, worked with them, enterained them in my home,"

Ooooh, ooooh, wait for it...................."some of my best friends are....." Right. We've never heard that one before. Guess who says that kind of crap? I know you can....

"who do not believe in the BS that these "African Americans" are putting forth."

Oooooh, oooooh, again! You mean "they're a credit to their race, and they don't mind being called Negroes (to their faces. We use another word when they're not around)." See above.

"They realize that they benefitted from the various programs for Equal Rights after the Civil Rights Amendment was signed."

By "benefitted," you mean "didn't always get screwed over quite as badly as before." If you've convinced yourself that people of color get anything approaching equal treatment in this country, you're not only a racist, you're a tragically deluded one.

"I wonder, JohnDoe if you have ever been out of the state of Alabama?"

Uhh, I haven't lived IN Alabama for 37 years, although I do maintain contact with friends there and visit occasionally. You're really reaching, and you're digging your hole deeper with every stretch....

I don't owe you an explanation and clearly you are one of those people that know everything -even about people you have never met.  How wonderful for you.  I know who I am, what I am, and what I have experienced.  I hope that one day you can travel to some of the poorest countries and see how people live, and then you can tell me how awful people have it here.  I will not be here in 50 years, but if you are, I hope you like the country this will be when people like you drink the Kool Aid and see your ideas enacted.

Hound, JD needs a triple dose of ex-lax.  Don't waste the effort, JD is only in it to try to convince people he/she is so right and we are the world's worst people and don't know ourselves.  I suspect you and I know ourselves more than JD knows himself, else he wouldn't try to convince us and the forum that we don't.  He reminds me of just about every liberal I have met who, when asked to discuss issues ends up in an angry shouting tirade.  Just bolsters my observation that conservatives think and liberals feel.  No room for logic and reason and give and take in such conversations.
