have you been to Baltimore lately?  It’s sad as are many cities today.  One would think you would want better for them.

Nothing but whining about Trump, nothing constructive. TDS is a scourge on this country.

"Nothing but whining about Trump, nothing constructive."

Wrong. The OP is a reasonable, factual response to #45's racist rants on twitter.

"TDS is a scourge on this country."

Wrong. #45 and his supporters are the real scourge of this country. I am saddened, but not surprised, at the number of hard-core racists who see #45's racist tweets as authorization to crawl out from under their rocks.

You may be a liberal if you go around calling everybody racists!!!

#45 needs to take care of his own responsibilities instead of making racist attacks on honorable members of Congress.

Yeah those God fearing, gubment hating, self reliant deep red states gladly accept on average $1.18 back for every $1.00 they pay in taxes and still end up being''sh*tholes''.  Alabama and West Virginia pretty much lead the pack!

Bernie was not President. A rather pathetic example of Trump trying to act like an 8th grader. He should rise above that and begin to act like a  President who has a mission to bring the country together. He may or not achieve that goal but at least try.

His son in law and his company is one of the biggest slum landlords in Baltimore. Maybe, he will clean up his aprtments to satisfy his father in law.

I did not suggest he is a racist in my post. Just that his tweet on Baltimore cetainly is not an example of a president trying to bring the country together. You like to read too much into posts in your defense of Trump.

Not really.  I wish he would call out Atlanta's city gov't for allowing this once elegant, southern jewel to turn into what it has become today.  Common denominator - Democrat predominant.  About time for citizens of these urban areas  to realize that who they keep electing don't have their best interest at heart.

You have a lot of "gall" talking about President Trump taking care of his own "responsibilities". It has been over two years now under our President, and I "challenge" you to name "one" thing that the Democrats in Congress have done regarding thei "responsibilities" to the American people. They have done nothing but initiate investigation after investigation and scream and hollow "impeachment". You know but will not admit that the attempts by the Democrats charging President Trump with "collusion" with the Russia was actually what the Democrats did, but Muellar claims that was not under his "purview" to investigate. That ordeal only cost the American taxpayer thirty-five trillion dollars

"You have a lot of "gall" talking about President Trump taking care of his own "responsibilities"."

No, just telling it like it is.

"It has been over two years now under our President, and I "challenge" you to name "one" thing that the Democrats in Congress have done regarding thei "responsibilities" to the American people."

Bwahahaha. Your sense of irony is laughably deficient. For the first two years, Repugnicans controlled the House, the Senate, and the White House. They failed at repealing the ACA, they failed at passing immigration reform, and they did next to nothing else but pass a deficit-exploding tax giveaway to folks who are already rich.

Inward growth back to urban Atlanta has nothing to do with desirability.  It has more to do with necessity.  Growth up the 85 corridor now is almost past Dacula.  75 almost to Dalton.  I-20 growth now extends from Oconee/Madison westward toward Bremen and the Alabama border.  Traffic sucks, commute times are horrible and GenX'ers now would rather put up with urban noise, trash, asphalt, crime, for the sake of pseudo-convenience.  My property value has risen more than your quote, maybe want to consider moving to the southside.  On the other hand, don't bother, we don't want Atlanta's problems.

So you have such an anti-Atlanta bias that you account for the rapid movement into Atlanta with traffic and over-development in the burbs?!  Sad and silly as well as uninformed.  Do some research!  Then come and enjoy dinner in O4W or Midtown,  Dare to see how white, black, well off, poor, gay, straight, Hispanic, Asian and descendents of those who sailed the Mayflower like be around each other.  Come and see the future of America that will arise after you and I have left the scene.  I live it and see it and appreciate it, you deny and dread and dispise the thought of  it!  Be assured, it is irristable and is coming soon whether you, WIX, MM and Dear Leader like it or not.  Hopefully your children and certainly your grandchildren will live it and love it whether you like it or not.

I drive into Atlanta occasionally to do my volunteer teaching.  Won't go into Buckhead anymore as of this spring.   Lenox is sleaze, Phipps used to be immune but no more.  My children all went to private parochial school in Atlanta, they see the changes that have occurred and prefer to avoid it altogether.  I married one of the few Atlanta natives around.  My opinion of Atlanta is actually tame to what she has seen occur to her home town.  You are  so typical of today's lib.  Pay attention to things that really don't matter, choose to ignore the things that affect your day to day life.  Go and join your fellow graffiti artists.

did not realize that white, black, gay, straight, trans, wealthy, poor, middle class, descendants of the Mayflower, Hispanic, Asian only live in urban areas.  Could have sworn I had lunch with many of these individuals today in my small town.  And just think, I can see the future of America, right here in my own back yard.  Go figure, Archie.

So because I stated that some parts of Atlanta are off limits for me, you insinuate that I am talking about a particular race and then state that my comment is racist?  Good grief Archie, develop a independent thought process whereby you don't succumb time and time again to the dem talking points and you might just be taken seriously.  As I stated earlier, I like the Neal Boortz definition of racism, "abiding by the premise that one race is superior to the other".  If you can find any similar tenor in Buteye's or my remarks, please point them out.  Until then, may I suggest that you try not to throw that word around as much as your party does.  It dilutes the true meaning.

then point out where I said you are a racist.  I said I do not believe you are racist but did say that your words could certainly be interpreted (perhaps understood is a better word) by many, especially the black citizens in general and of Atlanta in particular, as racist...I stand by my comment and am sad that you cannot see the obvious.

Maybe you should give a bit clearer explanation of why Atlanta has, to you, become such a disgusting place.  You imply it is because of "Democrat" leadership.  Well when did the downward spiral begin?  Was it under the leadership of Democrats Bill Hartsfield, Ivan  Allen and Sam Massell (all white) or did it begin to manifest itself when Black Mayor Manard Jackson was elected?  Tell us more CRD?

I was and am an occasional fan of Neal Boortz and his classic definition of Racist is correct, but like many other definitions it has become, rightly or wrongly, too narrow a definition for today.  I wonder if you also like Mr Boortz's opinion of LGBT community and abortion?  I sure do!

Perhaps it is time for you to become an "independent thinker" rather than spouting the rightwing Republican line as the answer to every problem or question!

I then suppose that you call the Atlanta Braves organization a "racist" entity for exercising their right to relocate for many of the same sentiments about urban Atlanta that I have espoused here.  Fans for the most part simply wanted no part of urban travel after dark, crime, having to walk through underground Atlanta to get from a train to a bus, XS pandering, car vandalism if you parked off site, no leadership from Atlanta city council regarding upgrading the outside game day experience and so on.  Lesser commentary has been called racist by your party.  Do you want to tangle with the Braves?  They will actually tell it like it is, much like Trump.
