Those running the National Cathedral are exceptionally liberal Episcopalians and for them to come out with something like this is not the least bit surprising. My wife and attended a Sunday service there back when there was a rift within the denomination over the consecration of an openly gay bishop. Unfortunately the “priest” of the day (they rotate guest priests) openly mocked the conservative element during his sermon. His was not a religious message but a political one so we did what neither of us ever imagined we would do, we walked out before he finished his hateful message.

I actually did read this, this morning.  I didn't find it interesting, but I was disappointed to find out that the National Cathedral is now a wing of the left.  I rather liked it better when churches didn't take a political stance.

The National Cathedral is overun with liberation theology types that see Jesus as a social justice warrior and a socialist.  I do find it funny that the left is always willing to quote a religious person and hold them in high esteem when they take the SJW or socialist line but woe to them if they reach the actual Gospel.....then they are a bunch of religious fanatics, homophobes, etc.  They are cafeteria Christians where they want one of these and two of these and none of the hard stuff.
