A good year or more ago I asked for recommendations on someone who could deliver a small load of lawn sand to Moonbranch in Blue Creek using a small truck. i seem to think that Old Diver or Lifer maybe responded, but regardless, I would appreciate hearing from anyone. For some reason the name Steve Hayes seems to ring a bell but that might just be a shot in the dark.

Word of caution— it seems folks don’t know the diff between lawn sand and white sand. A few years ago I ordered lawn sand from Steve and received white sand. 2 months ago, I asked about lawn sand at Lakesrtin Bldg Supply and they actually asked me what that was.  FYI!

its river sand. hasnt been processed like white sand. has more of a brown color like you see around lake islands.

Is white sand ok if you are just trying to level out a few very "small uneven" places in an emerald zoysia lawn?

That really depends on the soil/ sand mix you groomed brfore you laid the sod. If there is little sand, its probably noy a good idea - the drsinage properties will be very different. I have about 9,000 sq ft of Emersld Z and generally patch with a mix similar to what is below all the turf.

Also is more coarse so as you say, it helps to keep the soil loose and aerated.  I wish I had about 150-200 yards of the stuff on my property here in "Fungummery".  We have what they call "prairie soil" which dries to the consistency of a brick, with huge cracks in the soil when it is dry, but after it gets wet it is the consistncy of axle grease and about as slippery.
