Recent poll by Monmouth has him dropping like a rock and now trailing Warren and Sanders. Worst of all is that he is dropping with pretty much every demographic. Granted it's only one poll but it is not inconsistent with others although much worse. Still very early and maybe he can recover. What is likewise interesting is that I have long believed Kamala Harris will be the nominee. So far she has underperformed and seems to be making no headway. Not ready to change my prediction about her but time is running out. Funny to watch the fawning coverage of Warren attracting 15,000 people to an event in Washington. Mao could attract twice that number in Seattle.

The NYT has been running a series about her. They seem to think that centrists might vote for her. I can't imagine four years of listening to that shrill and angry voice or her self-satisfied one either.

It's so early in the race, I don't think you can seriously call a candidate. Some of them are so low, they will drop out, which will raise the numbers of others.

The Monmouth poll talked to less than 400 people! New much larger polls out yesterday and today have Biden with a huge lead over the 2nd and 3rd place. Sorry to ruin your Trump worship devotion time MM.

With MM and most posters on this forum Donald Trump is always deeply relevant to their political posts whether they use his name or not. Why do you think MM is posting about his perception of a Biden collapse. He is certainly not concerned because he is a supporter of Biden or any other Democrat. Is it just possible that his interest might be related to the fact that most prognosticators and polls show Biden as beating trump rather easily while all the other leading Democratic contenders fare somewhat less well? MM sees Biden's fall as good news for Dear Leader.

Trump Derangement Syndrome (TDS) is a mental condition in which a person has been driven effectively insane due to their love of Donald Trump, to the point they will abandon all logic and reason.

Symptoms for this condition can be very diverse, ranging from racist or xenophobic outbursts to a complete disconnection from reality. TDS can also often result in the sufferer exhibiting violent, homicidal, or even genocidal desires, particularly against residents from foreign countries.

Sufferers have also been known to wish direct self-harm on themselves (such as increased tariffs, a desire for tax cuts heavily favoring corporations and the 1%, infringement of first amendment rights, and even the destruction of NATO for comrade Putin), provided that action was initiated by Donald Trump.

Paranoia is also a common symptom of TDS. Sufferers have been known to believe that they are in some way being persecuted when their Trump related beliefs are questioned, and in some cases believe they are about to be a victim of an immigrant related crime. The paranoia does however not seem to be bad enough to make TDS sufferers attempt to actually becoming informed and think for themselves.

If properly treated, suffers of TDS can make a full recovery. Many suffers have been known to grow out of TDS, yet many can only be treated by having their condition directly treated through the application of logical reasoning. It is also known that products containing mole can exacerbate the condition.

Trump derangement syndrome is a psychiatric disorder that can occur in people who have experienced or witnessed left-wing media such as CNN, MSNBC or other opinion outlets like Now This.

TDS has been known by many names in the past, such as “Orange Man Bad” during the years of 2015-2017 and “Cheetos” after 2018. But TDS does not just happen to left-wing activists. TDS can occur in all people, in people of any ethnicity, nationality or culture, and any age. TDS affects approximately 3.5 percent of U.S. adults, and an estimated one in 11 people will be diagnosed TDS in their lifetime. Women are twice as likely as men to have TDS.

We know that TDS is something which needs careful diagnosis and detailed consideration of individual cases.
