Thanks and why isn’t it universal?  At Trump’s “suggestion” VP Pence is staying at a Trump resort on the west coast of Ireland rather than Dublin, where his official business will be conducted, on the east coast 180 miles away!  No problem, he will just fly on AF2 across the Emerald Isle.  Of course the taxpayers will be paying the tab for the lodging and the flight and the “kids” will be pocketing the lodging profit! Wonder what MM and WIx would have said if Obama had done this?

Archie, you have little in the way of sensibility or reasonablenes.  I have been to Dublin.  I have been to Killarney.  I have been to the Dingle area.  I have stayed in Doonbeg.  I have golfed at Trump's property.  All fairly accessible, it is a small island.  If he has family connections in Doonbeg, has worked there in his early years, and is paying personally for his wife and mother to stay in a hotel that the Secret Service has vetted and is comfortable with, I have no problem with it.  The drive from Western Ireland to Dublin is beautiful and reasonably quick. The flight from Shannon to Dublin even shorter.   I had no problem with Obama's Hawaii trips that went on for weeks over the holidays, and they weren't even related to business.  Get over your agenda laden drivel and realize that life can get mixed in with work, whether you are a politician or a businessman, and if he pays personally for his family, what is the big problem?

That would be my point - you never posted anything negative about Oblamer period.  So since you did not post anything during those 8 years, but have now found a new purpose in life since the election to point out anything and everything you can attempt to hang around the neck of Trump or a R in general.

You do not have the best bedside manner either.

My wife and I have also had the pleasure of driving all over the Irish Republic on 3 occasions.  It is indeed a beautiful country...be sure to get to Connamara if you have not already done so.  Of course not being a private schooled bigshot like you we were never able to lodge in an upscale golf resort but had great fun meeting the real people of Ireland by staying at B and Bs from Dublin to small towns in Wicklow to Cork to Clare to Kerry to Galway to the Cliffs of Mohr and the Burren. 

If the VP was motoring the 3 hours from the west coast to Dublin it would not be nearly as ridiculous...he is not motoring, he is flying 180 miles on a 747 on the taxpayer's dime.  If you one percenters don't have a problem with that so be it!  It pisses off a fair chunk of the other 99%!!
