maybe we read different transcripts, but the one I saw looks more like a whopper with double cheese!  It is against the law for a candidate or sitting elected US official to solicit information on a political opponent from a foreign official whether or not there is a promise of any renumeration...period!! I guess Bob Barr in so in the tank with Trump he has lost the code to access the U.S. Legal Code.

If this had been Barack Obama trying to get the goods on a GOP president wannabe in 2012 I suspect MM would have seen it as a seven course dinner of evil intentions!!

I am amazed that they consider this impeachable, but the Steele dossier was not a concern even though it was foreign research that would alter the election or that the Democrats had sent multiple letters to Ukraine asking for them to investigate trump ( again wanting foreign election meddling) but that is all OOOOOKKKKKKKK because  Orange man bad.  bhahahahahhahaah

No, we read the same transcript but obviously from a different perspective.  So tell me Archie, based on your standards were you likewise thinking Biden committed treason when he threatened Ukraine to withhold $1B unless they fired a prosecutor that happened to be investigating the oil company that his son was being paid $50K per month to be a Director?  And was it also treason when Pelosi and other Democrats threatened Ukraine to withhold funds unless they got to the bottom of the server farms and the hacking of the DNC server?  Both of those are a clear quid pro quo and nothing of the sort was in the transcript of Trump's call. 

And the Ukrainian president was the one that first brought up ongoing investigations, not Trump.  Needless to say the left will see what they want to see but I think a majority of Americans, including the much desired Independents are not going to see this as anything remotely close to what the so-called whistleblower claimed to have happened (i.e., mention of Hunter Biden 10 times, quid pro quo and so on).  It is no wonder this person hired a lawyer.  He or she can claim that is what they heard but that is perfect prima facie evidence of why the Democrats were foolhardy in rushing to impeachment based on a complete and total lack of actual evidence.  You would think y'all learned something from the Russian collusion/obstruction fiasco but apparently not.  Why is that?  Why the rush to impeach?  Why not focus on defeating him in the next election?

Because Biden was polling higher then most and polls are now showing him losing to Trump.  With Ukraine and China corruption hanging over him / Hunter he is wounded and the only way they get to pick RBG's replacement is to take him out now before the election.

Trump needs to be really careful before the election, I would not put it past insane lefties to attempt an assassination when they get no where in the House, and at worst the Senate votes not to remove.

They do not have the votes for formal impeachment in the House, which is why they have not brought it up for a vote to actually start the processess.  They want to play games and violate laws and house rules to say they are, without actually doing anything.

But on a positive nothing is going to get done on gun control or anything else as now this is going to be front and center until the election.  Then Pelosi and the all the rest should be jailed for election tampering.

The money was withheld because the prosecutor was soft on corruption. Joe Biden was the Obama point person for the administration. His son working with a Ukraine company was not the smartest thing. Trump withholding the $250-450 million is entirely different. The Pentagon had issued a letter that Ukraine met the qualifications for the money before Trump stopped it.

I guess just as Clinton lied and faced impeachment...it is now Trump's turn for his actions. The outcome is quite obvious...Trump will finish his term.

Bwahhahahahahaha!!!!  OMG Goofy, I literally cannot believe you posted this.  So basically you are saying that you believe this self serving lie, er, um, "explanation" in spite of the fact that Biden's son was being paid $50K per month by the company this prosecutor was investigating and that shortly after he was fired the investigation was unexpectedly terminated?!?!?!?  Yeah, U.S. foreign policy and aid decisions are always dictated by how tough some foreign country prosecutor is.....all I can say is wow......maybe a double wow. Folks, this is what TDS does to a person.  They literally will say anything utterly absurd as long as it feeds their mental illness.

Biden threatened the Ukraine that he was going to withhold aid and implicated Oblamer in that when told he did not have the authority he said well just call the president... because he wanted a tougher prosecutor? - the one that was currently doing the job was too soft on checking up on his son?

With that comment I need to purchase lots of SUV's and just let them idle in my yard to speed up the end of times, because at this point I have really lost faith in the future of mankind.

Well I would say based on the actual transcript that he wanted him to look into crowdstrike and help with the investigation regarding the Russian election meddling that may have had a Ukraine component.

Do you not want to get to the bottom of what happened with the Russia meddling with the election?  But then again maybe you do not because I have a feeling that the Steele disinformation campaign was launched from Oblamers WH and the intelligence community - you know the ones who were randomly talking about their major concerns with that Trump phone call just randomly in the hallway/by the water cooler/sitting at the lunch table with useful idiot Whistleblower -  in an effort to start impeachment attempt 863.
