2 new polls out today show a big shift in the support for impeachment...in both a plurality now favors impeachment...a shift of 10 to 12% since the last time these polls were published.

Paul Ryan has gotten word to the GOP House caucas that they should be prepared for the possible early end of the Trump administration.

The republicans in the senate have been mostly unusually quiet since the memo and report have become public.

In today's open hearings every single Republican poured lavish praise on the DNI but not a single one defended Trump and one pointed out that what Trump did was not acceptable.

On this forum Hound opines that Trump might not be able to noodle his way out of this one!

Yep, while with one possible exception, it's still ''hunker down and blame somebody else or change the subject or scream and shout'' on this Trump can do no wrong forum, but across America something has changed.

Most of the polls I've seen over the last few months have shown the same thing and several recent polls are unchanged.  There has always been 30%+/- support for impeachment from the first day he took office.  But that still means a wide majority oppose it and impeachment is a political process, not a legal one.  I can't speak for others, but I've read the so-called whistleblower complaint and I agree with the IG, there was nothing to it.  And now we have Ukraine contradicting the timeline in the complaint so not only was it wrong on the substance of the call but also the timeline.

As to how they handled the transcript of the call, is it any wonder?  Look what has happened and how the call was distorted and lied about by the media and Democrats.  I say bring on impeachment.  He will never be convicted by the Senate and it will ensure his reelection and Independents are going to punish Democrats for this move.  Please Democrats, bring impeachment over this call.  It will be the end of Joe Biden and three Democrat Senators. This is all a distraction for the coming IG report and Durham's investigation.  And it won't work.

Yup they better hurry now that they got the impeachment bump before it fizzles like Russia, obstruction, BS charge 3-99.  

They better strike while the iron is hot and get it started because I feel that as more people get more information and the IG report comes out - its not going to look good for demonrats.  Now that we have at somewhere between 43% and 49% - Hell, thats not even a majority Mr. National popular vote.

My prediiction is its going no where, Trump is going to get re-elected taking some states that have been blue for some time, and depending on which seats are up could retake the house, and Doug Jones gets his pink slip.

You can't read nor do you understand. This issue of credibility of the complaint was specifically addressed in the DNI's testimony. What was referred to as credible in the report was the original complaint.  Hence the investigation which cleared Trump of any wrongdoing. You obviously did not read it.

Woops, old age getting to me and misspoke regarding election rules of house vs senate.  So I would say an even better chance of him getting back some of those seats that flopped last time due to the Russia Hoax and demonrat lies.

Time will tell - I do think it would be hysterical if republicans took the house back and had all three branches, and replaced RBG.  Then I think many liberals will need to be on suicide watch.  If we do not take back the house at best its going to be 4 more years of fighting and gridlock, which anything that brings the gears of knee-jerk legistlation to a crawl is usually a good thing.

Not sure what is going to end the world first - Liberal coup attempts or climate change. one way or the other figure we have between 1 year for the coup attempt and until Obama's Home and Scuba park opens.

All the whistling was with Russiagate 1.0 and 2.0, both fake news and abject failures as Russiagate 3.0 will be.  If you think this will result in the Senate convicting him you are sadly mistaken.  I am not even convinced that absent some other revelation of something much more significant it will even get through the House.  There are far too many Democrats in the House in Districts won handily by Trump for them to risk their seats over something so banal and unimportant.  

Will be interesting to see where things go with Biden and his son now that the excrement has hit the fan.  As for me, I see Biden's son cashing in on his Dad being VP as SOP inside the beltway.  It is one of many reason I am for limited federal govt.  Too much money and too much power in the wrong hands.....read that any hands that want to be there to cash in regardless of party.
