A couple of days before the infamous July 25th call, Ukraine special envoy Kurt Wolker sent a text to Ukrainian President Zelensky's chief aide Andriy Yermak ''Heard from the White House.  Assuming President Z(elensky) can convince Trump he will investigate/get to the bottom of what happened in 2016, we will nail down a date for a Washington, DC visit.''  Now I don't know what that would be called around Lake Martin, but in most of the country it would be called a QUID PRO QUO!

This is not something published in a leftwing website.  It is the actual text they all, Republicans and Democrats, read today! I'm talking the same text I just quoted above.  Mr. H, do you not see in it even the slightest ''This for that'' being not just implied but downright and plainly stated in the king's english?  Do Republicans simply ignore the words they wish weren't there?

What does that have to do with election meddling in 2020?  I sure as hell want to know the truth about what happened in 2016' especially since it wasn't Trump doing it, and if giving the Uke Pres a trip to DC will shed some light I am all for it.  Doesn't seem to have anything to do with Biden's purported misuse of his position for personal/family monetary gain. You need to take a deep breath and a xanax (sp?).

Archie, qpqs  are the bedrock of negotiation. Back when Dems and Repubs actually talked to each other there were probably scores if not hundreds of qpqs every day. Question is whether there is anything wrong with the qpq, and in this casE I, as should you, welcome the commitment to find out what happened in 2016 in exchange for a photo op meeting with POTUS in DC.

He suffers from raging TDS and sees something nefarious in pretty much anything Trump says or does.  Not a peep from him about Biden/Obama/3 Democrat Senators threatening Ukraine funding in exchange for what they want, be it political dirt on Trump or saving Hunter's $50K per month bribe for favors from VPOTUS.  But Trump scratches his nose a certain way and the left wing nuts see it as a secret signal to his administration to start breaking the law.  There's a reason Trump released the transcript.....he had nothing to hide.  And there's a reason the leaker (he or she is no whistleblower) had to coordinate with Pencil Neck Schiff and his staff and why he or she is trying desperately to stay anonymous and has likely scrubbed his or her social media because I can assure you it is filled with anti-Trump vitriole.  And there's a reason Pelosi refuses to hold a vote despite having been taunted to do so by the White House.  If anyone is whistling it is Archie.  And when this deep state coup attempt fails he will fall for the next one like a brain dead zombie because of his TDS.

TDS is a powerful affliction and has infected millions with a vengeance.  You nailed it perfectly and I’ll just add that there is a panic that certain truths are will be unveiled very soon.

finally, there is another panic about Ginsberg’s health with a recent bile stent treatment that is a described as palliative.

While there clearly was a quid pro quo - it's abundantly evident from the redacted transcript of the call released by the WH - the argument about whether it exists is nothing but an attempted diversion by #45 and his toadies. His attempt to get a foreign power to intervene in a US election - by "investigating" (translation from Mobster to English: getting dirt on) a political opponent is both a criminal violation and an impeachable offense. Withholding military aid appropriated by Congress in pursuit of the dirt constitutes extortion and bribery. Using the power of the POTUS to pursue personal benefit to the detriment of the national interest is a high crime.

This is a textbook case for impeachment, exactly as the founding fathers envisioned. All you "original construction conservatives" will recognize this fact. He will be impeached, along with his accomplices Pence, Barr, and Pompeo. They will all end up behind bars. Perry is getting out while he's still a free man, although that may not last long. Given the current reversal of public opinion towards favoring impeachment, the odds that he will be convicted in the Senate are improving.

Time will tell....but I seem to recall you saying all these same things about Russiagates 1.0 and 2.0.  Maybe third time is a charm but remember, impeachment is a political process.  It's not a criminal trial with all the legal niceties like inadmissable evidence and Mitch McConnell and John Roberts will be overseeing it, not a deranged Democrat.  Absent some compelling reason, the Senate will never convict because the public sentiment will not be there and like with the Clinton impeachment (where actual crimes were committed), Democrats will be playing a much more dangerous game.
