Subject:	Lake Gantt Water Levels.

Lake Gantt has been drained down to lowest level since 1985 to allow maintance activities on the Dam near SR. 29 just South of Gantt.No recreational activities of any sort are allowed.

Locals are concerned about fish kills and restocking. Little has been made public regarding restocking.

Troy University and Volunteers are locating and relocating endangered muscle species.

Return to full pool is expected in Feb, at this point in time.

Power South has not announced any plans to participate in restocking efforts.

A local effort has been rumored regarding asking residents and business in the area to raise funds to supplement the limited State effort. No group has stepped forward who would organize and direct the effort.
