On Sunday night, the White House announced that Trump had told Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan that the United States would be clearing out of northern Syria, allowing him to proceed with an invasion that will inevitably lead to the slaughter of our Kurdish allies who helped fight ISIS.

On Monday, Trump tweeted, "As I have stated strongly before, and just to reiterate, if Turkey does anything that I, in my great and unmatched wisdom, consider to be off limits, I will totally destroy and obliterate the Economy of Turkey (I’ve done before!)."

WASHINGTON — Longtime televangelist and ally to the president Pat Robertson said Trump is “in danger of losing the mandate of heaven” over his announcement that American forces will pull out of a region of Syria. 

Calling Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan a dictator and a thug, Robertson said that he is “absolutely appalled that the United States is going to betray those democratic forces in northern Syria, that we are possibly going to allow the Turkish to come in against the Kurds.”

“To say that (Erdogan) is an ally of America is nonsense. He is in it for himself,” Robertson said.

Well, everyone knows that Pat Robertson is an expert on military strategy.... NOT.  

My feeling is that we should never have been in Syria anyway - it's a civil war.  So if we pull 50 troops out, then so be it.  Yes, the Kurds are going to scream bloody murder, but someone is always going to be upset when we withdraw from anywhere.  I don't profess to know what Trump is thinking.  Maybe he and Putin have a secret deal.  I'm waiting for the translaters who were in those meeting and had to sacrifice their notes to be called to tesify.

We have left wing nuts suddenly and inexplicably becoming deficit hawks, neocons, puritans and now we have them quoting an evangelical minister has been as an authority on national defense and foreign affairs.  Folks, this is what a mental illness will do to you.   There is a cure.....but first you must admit you have a problem.  Just wait til John Bolton comes out with negative stuff about Trump.  They will suddenly love the guy as long as he feeds their TDS.  Once decried as the spawn of Satan, left wing nuts will embrace him as a true patriot, a man of impeccable character and superior intellect and scruples.....as long as he trashes Trump.  It's not a pretty thing to watch others descend into utter madness.
