Geez...it's a wonder you can sleep at night with all the things you dream up in a demented, psychotic haze of TDS.  If I were a betting man, I suspect Shep told them it's me or Tucker Carlson as a result of their ongoing fued.  They looked at the ratings and probably told him there was no way they were getting rid of Tucker so he took his ball and golden parachute/handcuffs and went home.  Will be interesting to see who replaces him and whether they pick another leftist.  Given the mini-Murdochs running the show with their liberal activist wives anything could happen.

Shepard did not resign due to the meeting between Barr and Murdoch as I stated earlier.  Rather, he just resigned.

"A spokesman for Shepard Smith denied that his departure from Fox News was related to a recent meeting between Attorney General William Barr and network mogul Rupert Murdoch.

Smith announced his last day anchoring Shepard Smith Reporting on Friday at the end of his show. Many were quick to speculate that the frequent Trump critic was outed from the show after Murdoch and Barr met at the former's home on Wednesday, but it's unclear what was discussed during their rendezvous, according to the New York Times.

Chris Giglio, a spokesman for Smith, told the paper's Michael M. Grynbaum, "This was Shep's decision and his alone," in response to the rumors."
