A multiyear State Department probe of emails that were sent to former secretary of state Hillary Clinton’s private computer server concluded there was no systemic or deliberate mishandling of classified information by department employees, according to a report submitted to Congress this month.
The report appears to represent a final and anticlimactic chapter in a controversy that overshadowed the 2016 presidential campaign and exposed Clinton to fierce criticism that she later cited as a major factor in her loss to President Trump.
In the end, State Department investigators found 38 current or former employees “culpable” of violating security procedures — none involving material that had been marked classified — in a review of roughly 33,000 emails that had been sent to or from the personal computer system Clinton used.
I didn't know anyone was still even thinking about it. All they said was there was not a "pattern" of transmitting classified via unsecure. Doesn't say she didn't do it when it was expedient for her. As far as interviewing her aides, they've had a lot of time to figure out what to say to keep themselves out of hot water.
State Department investigates itself and finds that "some people did something". Different rules apply to you and I Fish. I guess you are OK with that. I am not.
The final report was released by the Trump State Dept and they agreed with every other investigation already done by everybody from the FBI to several GOP chaired and run Congressional committees. Hope you are OK with that...I am!
Sure Archie, just like you would have been willing to walk up to Kristian Saucier's jail cell and tell him you were ok with his one year jail sentence for taking a pic of his workplace on a sub, right. He wanted the same treatment and sentence that Hillary got, but was denied because the rules for him were far different than the rules for them. Take your TDS meds and see reality for what it is.
And by the way, they found over 600 violations committed by 38 people.....and that's just with the emails they found. Who knows how many more violations they would have found with the 30,000 emails they bleach bit. Those responsible are no longer in government so there was literally nothing for them to do to the perps.
As for the exculpatory language in the report please take note. No one said they deliberately exposed secret information or that this was the intent in setting up the server. That's a straw man argument. That information was exposed as a result of their actions in setting up and using the unsecured server. What we claimed, and I still believe, is that she used the system to get around FOIA requests and other disclosures of their pay for play crime syndicate. You know, the Clinton Crime Family Foundation that went belly up after the 2016 election. They never intended to do anything other than hide their use of their position in govt to become wealthy. It was about hiding actions that would hurt them politically. And to think you actually view this as a victory?!?!? What a warped sense of priorities.
But then she lost to President Trump......thank God!
