So my wife and I went to Nashville for a wedding this weekend and it was fabulous.  The groom was my son's best friend and my son was the best man.  Seeing a beautiful Catholic wedding mass always warms my heart.  The groom works for Clay Walker (country western singer) and the reception was at Clay's ranch south of Nashville.  Pretty funny because Clay screwed up his schedule and had a gig in Texas that night. So he comes to the wedding and leaves to take a private jet to his concert.  We sat at the table with his wife and some of their friends.  And yes, she is quite the looker.  And my son's speech was really well done.  He had everyone laughing and the women crying.  Had several people ask me if I wrote it for him but it was all his.  I told him to speak from the heart and he did.  Enjoyed dancing with my wife and it reminded me how important the sacrament of holy matrimony is and how blessed I was to marry my wife 35 years ago.  Sadly I had to rush back to Atlanta Sunday morning to attend a charity gala at the Georgia Aquarium.....it's gonna take a few days to dry out from the alcohol and lose weight from all the food.  :-)

There is more to life than the constant battle with TDS sufferers.

Yes, those areas south of Nashville, Brentwood and Franklin, are country musician populated.  Also Predator and Titan homesites.  I was invited to a function on the farm of a well-known Georgia country music star, but my schedule did not permit it.  Wish I could have gone because this particular artist has since sold and moved.  Leepers Fork is still one of my favorite places to visit in the fall.  No telling who you may run into there......sounds like a very special weekend MM!
