If we are at war and the "mission" in an area is approved he should not have to ask permissions or pass on intel - Let the DOD do what it does best and POTUS as CIC is the only one necessary to green light anything.

We have seen how military action by committee does not work.

According to the WaPo he was a peace loving ascetic Islamic scholar who suddenly passed away and needed a nice obituary in the paper.  And I would say he knew his stuff cause apparently all those ascetic scholars of Islam run around with suicide vests and cry like babies when they get whacked.  Wonder if they found his stash of kiddie porn like Usama?

At least the world is less some bad guys.  And this one took 3 innocent children with him.  I understand we took out some of his retinue in the process of getting him.  No doubt someone will step in to fill the void.  

Maybe Trump will start to recognize the value of our intelligence community.
