Does anyone else worry about how much corruption seems to be associated with politicians?  you know that Hilary and Bill are vengeful and corrupt, so this doesn't surprise me.

Yes, that is what we have now.  I don't believe in scrutinizing people's backgrounds from when they were in high school or college.  But I find it deeply disturbing how corrupt and unethical they turn out to be, on both sides of the aisle.  What happened to personal integrity?  The Clinton's running a money laundering operation through their foundation, selling meeting with Clinton when she was the SecState, under the guise of their foundation.  Now we've got Trump witholding military assistance to get dirt on one of his opponents.  Yes, we can talk about his "perfect" phone call, but sending out Guiliani to run some kind of shadow "diplomancy" to get Ukrane to do some dirty work he wanted done.  Is there no thought given any more to doing the right thing?  Obama was no better.  It really bothers me.

Goes back to my post earlier - what will stop them?  When do they wake up and decide that from now on they will be better?  People doing bad things do not change until a life altering event happens....

Two wrongs dont make a right, nor three, four and 27 - You can make something illegal but you will not stop someone from doing bad things if that is what they want to do.  You have to have a punishment so bad that no one would ever do it again.

What will stop Trump from using the CIA/FBI against the next President because someone slipped him note that said that they were colluding with Mexico/Cuba/etc?  If what was done under the Obama admin was so "by the books" then why can Trump not do the same thing to find political dirt?  You may not agree with it, but Trump is shining a light on what was done to him in 2016 - laws have not been changed, nothing - If what I fear is proven to have happened - several top Obama adminstrators should go to prison, which would be one of those life altering events to warn people in the future.

As for the Trump impeachment that has been ongoing for 3+ years - If they get away with it, what will they do next time?

I guess I would like someone to stand up and say "enough is enough" and mean it.  I don't believe you can legislate behavior and every time they have tried via Ethics laws, they find a way around it.

I'm not talking about Trump per se. I'm not even sure this was Trump's idea - Guiliani being involved.  I have been putting myself in the shoes of these Ambassadors - who do you complain to if the President's lawyer is the one creating a problem.  

Obama was an idiot when it came to foreign affairs.  He and Clinton can polish it all they want and Obama fans can believe he walks on water, but I predict that history will not be kind to Obama.  And I believe he is the godfather of all this racial tension we are seeing.

It would be great if politicans were ethical and did the right thing, but in the world where that happens rainbow unicorns can be used for high speed transit.

You may not be able to legislate morality, but you can damn sure punish people who do bad - and you have to apply it across the board.  We are where we are because politicans are immoral, self enriching stunted unethical trolls.  They pass legislation that applys to everyone(but them).  Make them 100% accountable to all laws they pass including insider trading with stiff punishments.  Lapses in ethics that can be proven gets you removed from office, loss of pension, retirements, any benifits - and unable to run for any elected office anywhere state or national.

As for the ambassadors - they serve the president to enact HIS foreign policy, not the other way around.  From what I am reading of the transcripts most seem just pissy because they were not able to keep following the Obama foreign policy and just do not do well with change. The other side of that coin may be that some of them were helping to hide criminal acts under Obama.

Anyone who becomes president next should fire everyone they can from every agency they can  and start over, I would not blame them at all.

I think Washington could have used and can still use a lot of chaos to get their schift together.  We have seen what happens when the media is 99% all in for whatever a president wants to do and only worships at his feet, and now we have seen what happens with the media is 99% aginst a president.  

Personally I think the propaganda media should be considered a campaign contribution to the DNC.
