Superfluous Coffee Corner relocating ! Cant imagine basement being good for business

I know that the coffee corner is moving, but this is something else.  And I've heard it is already open.  

What I heard is that there will be coffee on the first floor and clothes on the second floor.  But the basement is a secret, supposedly.

I even heard rumor Froshins was closing soon--no wonder--prices are exhorbitant ! BTY--daughter said LM PIZZA downtown also closed this week--another bites the dust

Yes, the LM pizza in Alex City closed.  Apparently the owner felt stretched too thin trying to run a restaurant here and one in Dadeville.  

I was in Froshen's once and pretty much concluded that it wasn't likely to do well.  I guess the owner didn't actually look at what people wear in Alex City.  I don't think he had an experienced buyer.  I joked that everyone knows that men don't buy clothes - women by clothes for men.  I think looking at demographics and figuring out who your customer is and at what they will buy, at a price point.  I don't think this is done often enough.   But I understand he will continue to sell clothes on the second floor.

Surprise-I buy my own clothes/shoes/ golf clubs etc but I'll never pay $100 for a golf polo

I don't think the majority will pay $100 for a polo shirt.  If you are into upscale shopping, you'll do it in Birmingham.
