I think Spencer has a point, but I think the things he is saying are strange, considering that he was trying to cut a deal with the WH, behind Esper's back.  But it doesn't really matter what anyone said, because Gallergher is retiring with his rank and his Seal pin, and his benefits of a higher rank.   I personally think it is a bad thing, because he violated the code of conduct, the rules of engagement and it showed no respect.  But all that is water under the bridge until the next time.

Spencer was a businessman who Trump hired to be Secretary of the Navy. He served as a Marine Aviator from 1976-1981. Nothing to strip...no pension. It is just a typical Trump fiasco.

One would think a Marine would understand the chain of command.  Maybe this is not his first experience going over his boss' head and why he was an active duty Marine for only five years.

If, in fact, he was an aviator, he probably had a 5 year obligation because of flight school.  Problem was, he was trying to defend o-BAMMIE loyalty dimokrap idiot generals.  Stupid move cost him his purchased high level job.......tough SS__it.

I was reading an article today that made a case for the number of deployments that these guys do.  Gallagher was on his 8th deployment.  The article talked about the itensity of the missions that are assigned to the Seals and what it does to the family as well.  We never really know what all these deployments are messing with people's sense of judgement.  They deploy people with sign of PTSD, because they have to.
