According to them, we just need to cut the defense budget and have Special Forces.  Not taking anything away from Special Forces, but they are not the solution to every military situation.  

OOOPPPs, now they want coalition warfare.  I guess they don't know that only means that we pay for others to fight with us.

did you notice none ever gave a DIRECT yes or no answer to a question--went round and round, then criticized Trump, then more jumbo jumbo; of course no interviewer ever said; " sorry , but you never answered the question !" ;  they must have a course, updated quarterly, mandatory attendance, for all Congress to learn how to dance around and never answer a direct question

My DH was convinced they were given the questions beforehand.  

Yes, they never give a direct answer.  It seems that there were no problems in this country until Trump took office and now it is all his fault and he's doing it wrong.  

I was really interested in the foreign affairs questions.  They are all convinced that Trump is wrong - yet not one of them can say definitively what they would do if they were in the WH right now.  They want to cut defense spending - they claim that defense industry is driving the defense budget - which is totally wrong.  The TRADOC (training command) and the users decide what capabilities they need and then defense industry proposes ways to meet those needs.  Everyone likes to blame Lockheed for the F-35, but really the Air Force said they needed that capability.  (we could debate that, but they said they did).  No one of them mentions the programs that the military would have cancelled, but Congress funded them anyway, because it was jobs in their district.   Half of them showed that they have no idea about the mission of special forces - I am a huge fan of special forces for what they do, but they aren't supposed to be the major force.  Cut defense spending - cut the number of troops and create a hollow military?  

No one knows what the right number of troops is - but you can be sure Trump is doing it wrong.  

Who knew that Biden had so many responsibiliites under Obama??  I wonder what Obama was doing, since Joe was solving all the problems?
