Maybe so, but that kind of money doesn't buy a $27M mansion in Taxifornia.  I am guessing she wants to be there to hedge her bets that the marriage craters.  Not too shabby to go from a second rate celebrity to former wife of a Prince living in a Beverly Hills mansion.  Beyond that, I am not sure why so many people give a rats behind about these two.  He seems to me to be a whipped member of the British royalty and she a self absorbed celebrity wannabee.

The 27 million mansion is in Canada from what I read.  They refuse to live in america till Trump is out of office.  So that is just a tempory place.  She may be whats brings the Royal Family down to the point that the monarchy is finally abolished.

Well other than to pay back the 3M that UK taxpayers to renovate the house that they no longer will live in, Harry's Dad, Prince Charles has said he will continue to financially support them from the profits of his Duchy.  It's only 5% that they will no longer receive from British taxpayers.  And she has plenty of rich friends who would likely loan her money to buy a mansion.  From the beginning, I have only given this marriage 5 years - Harry has been royal his whole life - he doesn't really know what to do unless someone is scheduling him for something.  He's always been waited on hand and foot.  Even his military service wasn't exactly normal.  Meghan wants that brand Sussex Royal, but I don't see the Queen allowing that.  I am a little surprised that the Queen let them keep their "Duke and Duchess" titles, even if she stripped HRH.  About a year from now, who is going to care about this spoiled, immature pair?

I have no real opinion about the monarchy itself, and I expect it will change once the Queen is gone.  I don't know how stuffy it is, but when you marry into it, you are marrying more than just a man or a woman.  I actually like that they maintain standards.  Meghan married in and decided that everything had to be her way - and that is not how it works.  You conform to it, it doesn't conform to you.  While they are younger, Harry and Meghan are not all that young - not far off the age of William and Catherine.  I think the problem is that Meghan wants to live the celebrity, jet setting life, not a life of service.  It's not for everyone.  I understand that the Queen wanted to strip them of their Duke and Duchess title too, and it won't surprise me to see it happen after a bit.  I guess I think that if you want the perks, you have to live with the rules.  While Canada is welcoming at the moment, it may find having them there more of a burden as time goes on.  

Oh yeah, and Meghan says she will not live in the U.S. as long as Trump is President.  As if living in LA, California is living in the U.S.

Hound, you have to understand.  Goofy has raging TDS and he sees all the events of his life through the lens of his Trump hatred.  His corn flakes soogy?  It's Trump's fault.  His hot water heater needs replaced?  It's Trump's fault.  He has a mental illness, it's out of control and he can't help himself.  I've asked him repeatedly to get help but first he has to admit he has a problem.....so far no luck.
