We warned them about Obamadon'tcare.....but they wouldn't listen.  We warned them about the nuclear option.......but they wouldn't listen.  And we warned them about moving forward with impeachment on these grounds......and they didn't listen.

So what has now changed with regard to impeachment?  It is no longer infrequently used for Constitutional reasons for high crimes, etc. but for political reasons over policy disputes based on an assumption of motivation of the President.  So the next time a Democrat President sends pallets of cash to a sworn enemy of the U.S. and enters into an agreement without Congressional approval......impeach.  And all they need is to divine the thinking of the President on any policy issue and claim abuse of power.  So for example, the GOP presumes that Obama sent those pallets of cash to Iran and entered into the agreement to help in his reelection.  And they lied about what caused the protests that led to Benghazi to help in his reelection.  And they sent guns to Mexico which were eventually used to kill Americans to help his reelection.  That he weaponized the IRS against conservative groups to help his reelection.  Impeach!  Sure, the Senate would likely vote to acquit on those issues but as the Evil Queen stated, they will be impeached forever.....whatever the heck that means.

As our great President would say, "Yuuuggge mistake!"

Reading some more news articles this morning and may have another slant to the whole impeachment / senators not able to have town halls, be on CNN and campaign normally.

Maybe it is by design to HELP them, after all the ratings for the debates and town halls are going down, maybe by trapping them in the senate they are actually trying to help the other senators trapped vs just helping non-senators who are not trapped.

By cutting the time they have to get their message out, cutting campaign events, townhalls and debates -  they could be helping them by not allowing the public to see just how insane they and their policies are.

One other theory making the rounds on witnesses is that Nadler and Pencil Neck insulting the Senators is meant to hack them off enough to vote against witnesses.  Then Democrats can scream "cover up" leading to a vote to acquit.  For sure Democrats are going to do all in their power to keep Biden, his dirbag son, the weaseleaker and Pencil Neck from being deposed.  Last thing they need is a bunch of pleading the 5th from Hunter Biden and I am sure they would be terrified to have Biden testify for fear of what he would say.
