I was puzzled about this stat.  Finally I heard from conservatives who wanted witnesses because the wanted the whistleblower, Schiff, Nadler, etc..  now it makes more sense.

Personally I glad it's over.  Coverup!  Lol.

its Not over--Shiff, fatNad, et al still  have 2 days to find anotherwhistleblower; Repubs should have demanded a vote Friday rather than drag this circus out--bet you $10 next week Pelosi et al file NEW charges--

Dont forget, they can spin up charges in less then a month  - they can send more articles of peach mint over to the Senate at least 10 or so times before the next election.

He can be peach minted at least 10 times before the election, could be the *most* impeached ever, He could have a whole row of *'s next to his terms in office.  Hell, he could even be on Double Secret peach mint.

The truth is that witnesses wouldn't have done a thing, other than drag it out even more.  If they had called Bolton, I suspect that WH lawyers would have filed an injunction citing "executive privilege".  They already have sealed the fate of Bolton's book claiming it is loaded with classified information.  Who knows when/if that book will see the light of day.  And as I see it, the problemm with Bolton is that he wants to get back at Trump for firing him.  I have a lot of problems with Bolton and never thought he should have been made National Security Advisor.  He is a self promoting bureaucrat if there ever was one.

And if they had called Bidens - either one - they would have pleaded the 5th.  As woud Mulvaney.  There is nothing new to be learned.

I thought Lamar Alexander was right.  Trump was in the wrong doing what he did, and that is all out in the open now.  But it really doesn't rise to impeachable.  Yes, he slowed down the release of the Ukraine's money allocated by Congress, but they didn't end up losing a dime. It was political theare on Trump's part - he let the know that that they will dance to his tune, but in the end he released the money and it was obligated by the end of the fiscal year in which it was allocated, so they got it.

Trump has not done anything worse than Democrats have done in the past and certainly not to the extent that Democrats would have you believe.

There isn't any cover-up.  The country needs this to be over- at this point it is just wasting time and tax payers dollars for political grandstanding.  Nancy and Chuck and Schiff don't want it to be over because they think it covers up the fact that they don't have a strong candidate to run against Trump.  They are hoping that people will vote against Trump, because it doesn't seem likely that there is a cohesive front for Democrats.  Obama put it correctly - Americans want evolution, not revolution.
