Even your beloved Donald J Trump appears to have finally come to the conclusion that this in fact is a health crisis.  I guess that leaves you as the only person on the planet that still thinks it is not a crisis.  Imagine that...hard to believe such blind political bias coming from a man of education and a doctor at that!  You must be very proud.

James Madison once appropriately warned "crisis is the rallying cry of the tyrant".  You support and demand governmental behavior and intervention that quite frankly, once the left gets a bellyfull of for the next few months, will be difficult to dial back.  Yeah, this virus is a B:tch, but I prefer my freedom to make appropriate, common sense decisions for me, my employees, and my patients.  Got off a national conf call last evening.  I can assure you, I am not alone in my assumptions.

to the health and security of this nation because you are making stupid decisions, not common sense decisions.  I'm sorry you have apparently lost your blind faith in Donald Trump just as he finally says something that is true.  We all hope it is overblown and we can look back and wonder what was the big deal rather than having you and your conf call buddies look back and say ''the president told me so, if only I and others like me had listened, lives would have been saved''.  The number of infections is increasing at 25% per day and has been for weeks.  assuming the daily increase holds we will go from 5000 cases today to 115,000 in just 2 weeks and to 2,600,000 in less than a month and 55,000,000 in 6 weeks!   Obviously it behooves us to do whatever is required to stop or slow the spread! Hard to believe that somebody with a medical education can't do 4th grade math!  There is another wise and sober quote ''Always err on the side of caution.''

BTW:  Your attitude proves the stupidity of leaving it up to every individual to make ''common sense'' choices!

Archie,

I sometimes wonder why bother with you?  If I was a threat to the health and security of this nation, then I certainly would be just as viable a threat to myself and my family and my staff and their families.    Rest assured that my immediate family is fully literate and is taking all proper precautions and are more than comfortable with my practice quidelines and decisions.  My staff is on the same page, a little anxious, but not in a full blown panic.  They are informed.  They do not extrapolate into the unknown.  They understand and are going far beyond the extra-mile in order to maintain a virocidal environment with appropriate social distancing and patient questioning before entering clinical work areas.  This applies to hospital areas as well.  My decisions are based upon known, world wide, science based recommendations  Archie, not some random individual decisionmaking protocol.  

In my opinion, you and your ilk are more dangerous to our communities, businesses and the well-being of this great nation than any of those you hold up to be culprits outside of your sanctimonious sanctuary.
