Mississippi has a per capita Covid -19 per capita infection rate 20% higher than GA and more than double that of FL.  No problem, Governor Tate Reeves today not only refused to put any restriction on movements or businesses other than limiting the max number permitted to gather in a group but he also overturned the stricter restrictions that had been put in place locally by some MS cities and counties.  A real genius old Tate.  Wait, don't Republicans insist that the more localized the government the better?  What gives Tate ole buddy?

Albany Georgia at one time had a per capita inf rate greater than NC and SC combined.  All it takes is one large gathering, whether it is a funeral, a 40th birthday party as that which occured in liberal Westport Connecticut, etc.  This data, which you analyze superficially and announce, really has to be taken in context and analyzed by the state's epidemiologists and public health officials who then recommend what action should take place.

You know this Archie.

to the governor's action.  You can be sure a lot of fundamentalist churches in MS will be packed to the rafters this Sunday in contravention of the governor's mild restrictions against large gatherings.  You are right CRD...that's how it starts.  Large gatherings in blue CT or deep red MS!

BTW:  Your first sentence does not make sense...how can a per capita statistic be above the per capita of two places combined. It could be above ths stats of the average of two places.
