yes, I agree completely.  I hope that the Republican Party comes out of this in a good way... as a Social Democrat, I firmly believe the checks and balance of a two party system is best for us...   I recognize Trump is an abberation (sp?)for the GOP Party historically, but they have to wrestle with how they got themselves into this fix in the first place and reshape into a party that is better than Trump.   He is exactly what most Republicans don't want to be. 

This right here is one of the things I always love.  as party A I think that Party B is just wrong and should listen to Party A on how to fix themselves.

Hillary is exactly what most Democrats want to be.  Even before Trump was the primary winner when there were others on the primary ballot.  We got lovely views from Archie and GF in terms of BILLLAARYRYY!!!!!, over Sanders.  In a "fair" fight Hillary had to rig a primary to make sure she was able to win the primary over a self proclaimed socialist.  As a Social Democrat, you must be really proud of your canidate, to win by hook or by crook and any means necessary.

Several members of the news media passed on questions to her before the debates at CNN, as well as sent questions to be included for Trump in interviews.  Members of the DNC were able to not only approve news articles but also able to "suppress key information" at the New York Times.

While Trump is an abberation, Hillary is the poster child for the democrat party and is "owed this".  

Now you posted a lovely image of I may be crazy, but not Trump crazy, the difference is I will vote for Trump and go outside and vomit. You, Archie and GF will vote for Hillary and smile.

Now I have lots of opinions as to how the Democrat party should fix themselves.  Pro 2nd is a good start,  Pick an age where life begins is a good runner up.  Pick a canidate who does not have to cheat to win, find a canidate with some of those good southern values you talked about in another post, not a transplant from Chicago who does funny voices depending on who she is talking to.

And to add to the origional post - I will no longer have to hold my nose or lose my lunch to vote for Trump.

Funny Fish how a few threads ago Archie was crowing about the fantastic turnabout in China because of their early recognition, lockdowns and aggressive measures, in his attempt to belittle Trump and his team's efforts and results.  He even stated that China had 1 or two days of no new cases therefore Xi good, orange man bad. 

Now after a little investigative journalism (imagine that!) we find that China cooked their numbers, was deceitful in notifying the world with their early data and now have the county of Jia under lockdown because of their fear of a second wave.  There will be plenty of time for critique of this administration's management, as well as, I hope applause for the things they got right down the road.  For now, political differences be damned, it is past time for a united effort that will allow us to emerge from this with vigor, energy and focus.

This is not directed at you Fish, but I simply am trying to lend credence to commentary many on this forum offered these past few weeks, but were ridiculed for by those leaning to the left of the political spectrum.

One can always count on Maxine and for that matter Pelosi to offer comforting, inspiring, energizing, appropriate commentary in times of national emergencies.  What stateswomen (sarcasm on) these women are.  You now, Fish, hang your hat on what these imbeciles have to tell concerned and frightened citizens of this nation?  Your party gets what it deserves, Biden, who you feel will lead you out of the desert to the promised land of government intrusion into every aspect of your life because you are incapable of handling life's challenges on your own.

I find that rather amusing as the entire country, especially the medical profession, is asking big government for help with supplies. The Right has no problem with the 2T stimulus as big govenment comes to the rescue. Yes, only Biden supporters are incapable of handling life's challenges.

I can't believe that you truly accept Trump as the best your party can offer anymore than I accept Biden as the best the Dems can offer.

The issue I have Fish is the absolute non-reporting of Dr. Birx' comments two days ago regarding our medical epidemiological recommendations to the Trump administration in the early days.  The entire world was relying on Chinese data that, according to Birx, was showing that this virus was similar to the SARS and MERS viruses.  The response worldwide was based on data China was supplying to the scientific community, which we are now realizing was pure communist fantasy.  Once data was getting out from China, despite China's best efforts to control its dissemination, the world's epidemiological community had an "oh sheeet" moment and by then, in many cases it was too late to install protective protocols.  I applaud the Trump team when he acted when he did to shut down travel from China, despite Biden's criticism.  Rational thinking individuals know that Trump is not making his decisions in a vacuum, however, listening to his pressors, that is what the MSM wants you to believe.  Why is not there not white hot anger directed toward China for allowing this to happen?  Reason, because it does not suit their agenda.  But trust me, individuals that I talk to daily, have an anger for China that will not be affected by what Pelosi or Waters or Schumer say about this administration.  Trump in a landslide.
