To Martini and others,  I would like to see our country open up. The question is when? I don't plan to be shopping in the malls or going to a movie for awhile. I will leave that up to you and your fellow Trumpsters to test it. I do hope the test comes back with positive results. and we can become somewhat normal.  It is no fun sitting at home checking the Forum and email. And, if all is well you can say "I told you so". This time, I hope you win.

I have 2 kids and a granddaughter on the front line. A doctor treating patients in a hospital setting and two nurses in a hospital so I have a vested interest in a win for your side.

Hopefully the curve is starting to turn but there are things that continue to surface that seem to add more concerns as each day goes by. Bless your children and granddaughter as they work on the front line of this terrible nightmare.

Goofy, if I could answer a question like that I would own an island in the Caribbean, not a lake house in Alabama.  It is going to end when we get to a point that opening up the economy will not overwhelm hospitals or result in a spike in deaths.  For those that are elderly or have comorbidities it is going to be a while longer.  If you are younger, healthy and have no other issues it will be sooner.  Let's see what happens in Georgia and Colorado.....yes, the media is only after Kemp even though the Dem guv of Colorado is doing the same thing.

The whole reason for the shut down was to protect hospitals and now we learn that they are falling apart financially because the mad rush of Wuhan virus patients didn't happen and everyone else is staying away.  We'll know in the next 15 to 30 days and if things don't take a dramatic turn for the worse in either state there will be a mad rush to open things up except in states like NY, NJ, etc. that have been hit particularly hard.

That can now be done at you doctors office (or doc in the box) with 2-4 days return time.  Yesterday morning on CNBC there was an interview with the CEO.  

now I would double check the availability and I do not know if insurance covers just yet.  But they are also rolling out a inhome test to see if you have the virus.  To see if you have had the virus it requires a finger prick (blood test).
