Algae is a good carbon sink.  I suspect that this is nothing new during warmer periods but it does make good click bait for the true believers now that polar bear populations are way up and temps are not.  Heck, I'm betting that all the snow was green during the Medieval Warming Period....ya know, when man was spewing CO2 from his factories and cars.  But fear not Goofy, with the sunspot activity approaching a Maunder Minimum we may be wishing for some globaloney.
