Subject:	Dem platform-defund the police

Has been fun to watch Democrats and the media try to explain that defund the police doesn't really mean defund the police.  What they understand is two things: 1) their far left base really does want to do away with the police because they are stupid and insane; and 2) it is electorally toxic not only with a overwhelming majority of Americans but also opposed by 70% of black Americans.  Quite the dilemma for them....do they bow down to their radical base or do they risk losing the base in favor of not getting crushed in November.  I will not go out on a limb here and will say that they obviously need to risk the former and hope that TDS will get them to the polls.  And all this with Trump enjoying ~40% approval with African Americans.  If Trump doubles his 2016 vote total with African American voters I don't care how much Biden runs it up in California and NY, he won't win the electoral college.
