I thnk he's referring to people that are not on board with the BLM/kneeling/riots/violence, clsoing down the economy for the virus or plan to vote for Trump in November but won't tell anyone or display his signs, etc. out of fear of violence or vandalism.  And these same people also don't respond to polls.

That's something I have been wondering about.  Just how big a population is not jumping on the BLM/liberal thinking bandwagon.  Can't believe  the media or the polls.  I don't think Trump is on as solid ground as he was before COVID, but I don't think he is tettering on the edge either.  I think a lot of people support equal rights, but are turned off by the riots and the demands.  A lot of people can see where reforms in policing may be appropriate, but I don't think the majority of people want to see the police defunded or done away with.  I just don't think the real majority believes in systemic racism, when so many know black people who are succesful and raising families and their kids go to college.

I guess we'll find out in November for sure.  If Trump is reelected, which in my view is right now in serious doubt, then we will know there is indeed a silent majority.

I doubt Trump will be re-elected too.  He is his own worst enemy.  Like suing Bolton to stop the publishing of his book.  It just makes more people convinced that it is true, and Trump has something to hide.   All of his previous aides have turned on him.  He seems to have the need to alienate those closest to him, especially if they dare to disagree with him.  

All of the emphasis on race is going to help Biden with votes.  BLM is and will continue to pour money into his campaign and force him to pick a Black Woman as his running mate, so when he dies off or steps down, we will have another black as President.  Poor Hilary must be seething.

Much I think will depend on the economy.  And I agree that he does at times do things that are counter-productive.  Sometimes makes me wonder if he wants to lose.  We'll see if getting back to the rallies makes a difference.  Over 1 million people tried to get into the Tulsa rally.  No way Joe would generate that much enthusiasm.  And bear in mind Trump right now has 40% approval in the black community.  Whether that translates into votes is another matter.  But if Trump doubles the black vote from 2016 Biden is toast.  Just don't know if that will happen.  He is trying hard to appeal to them so you never know.
