I can see it.  And I hear in Atlanta, they are planning going radio silent on the 4th of July.  No one will want to put themselves on the line, afraid that they will make the wrong (politically incorrect) choice when something happens.  

Frankly, I have gone tone deaf to all the cries of "systemic racism".  I just don't buy it.

It is sad, but true.  More and more it appears that the inmates are running the asylum, as the old adage goes.  I am old enough to remember the 60's and 70's and the turmoil and violence of the race riots and all of that.  It was very similar to today, minus the perpetual video film and images that are posted almost immediately via the internet.  Back then, it would take days to get news like this if it was available at all.  I think it was better though, at least we took some time to reflect and think before we jumped on our (unavailable) Twitter accounts.  And don't even get me started on the state of what is loosely being called "journalism" today.  It is absolutely pathetic, IMHO.

But, the optimist in me also remembers that we moved on from those days and accomplished some very incredible things, with some ups and downs along the way, to be sure.  Hopefully we can do it again as our children and grandchildren are counting on it.

  The whole idea behind this Black Lives Matter and there ilk, is the destruction of our society. What better way than to devistate our police force? They are well organized, well financed and devoted to destroying our culture. Then create chaos. God forbid, but it could force   resorting vigilanties again!  

    Remember though to be a responsible citizen. After their attack, please sweep up your brass!
