Goofy, did you even listen to his remarks or just get the snippet from Politico?  Let me answer that......you took the Politico spin, hook, line and sinker like the mindless rube that you are.....literal click bait for TDS sufferers.  I listened to the question and his entire comment on C-Span (link below) and he never once said he ordered them to slow the testing.  In fact, he focused on the fact that there has been more testing in the U.S. than anywhere else and as a result we have more confirmed cases.  And we have a better understanding of the actual mortality rate because of the testing (side note: recent Stanford study puts the mortality rate at 0.4% for those under age 70).  It was very clear from the question and his response that he was focused on the impact of more testing on more cases which was in fact part of his comments that surrounded the infamous joke in the midst of very accurate and rational comments about testing.

So no Goofy, he did not state that his joke was not a joke.....he said he was not kidding about the issue of testing.  Watch it all and tell me what he said that indicated he had slowed down the testing.....hint, it isn't there because he never said it.  That's what you get when you get your news from left wing nut sites like Politico.

My point is simple although lost on you......his statement about not kidding in the impromptu presser had nothing to do with the joke.  He was talking about the testing resulting in more cases but I'm betting you didn't bother to listen to the C-Span video did you?  Did you listen to what he said?  Reposting the same lie doesn't make it true.  Please tell me you're not that dense....oh wait, never mind.
