Let’s see, there are about 13,000 American military in Afghanistan this year, and NYT claims Putin is paying Taliban to kill troops.  A grand total of nine (9) Americans have been killed this year in Afghanistan.  Well I hate we have lost 9, but doesn’t seem likely that Putin’s grand plan according to NYT even exists.
