Anyone notice about 8:45 tonight, the aircraft at about 500 feet one with lights 8 without heading from east to west north west pass by? Unusual at best.

Maybe it is the Martians.  My daughter would like to believe that, lol.

We heard it. Did not make it outside in time to see it. Trophy Husband said it was unlike any plane he has ever heard. And he is an avid plane enthusiast.

My wife is lucky enough to have a trophy husband as well. Lol I'm not sure she realizes how luck she is but I continue to tell her.

I hear planes going low overhead at night.  I always assume it is the military doing night training ops.  I have also heard helos going overhead at night.

Hodja - if it is Martians, you notice they are not landing or beaming anyone up.

I use to fly a Cessna 172 years ago out of Auburn and at that time there was a military training route known as the "Oil Burner Route" right over the Dam to Blue Creek area. No idea if that is still active as military did a lot of low level training and had to watch for them when flying in that area.

Call Guiness, we have a winner....lol.

That must make you the oldest living pilot!!

I know it is a Cessna Model 172  but when I read it I got a chuckle.
