Watch it yourself......in a sane world there was no chance for 2nd degree murder and not much chance for manslaughter even.  The police were incredibly patient with the guy and tried repeatedly to get him to calm down and get in the car.  Claiming he can't sit in a car is crazy considering he was sitting in a car before he was arrested.  It was obvious from the footage that: 1) he was high as a kite and probably mentally disturbed (maybe due to the drugs); and 2) he was dying long before he was put on the ground as a result of resisting arrest, again probably due to the drugs in his system.

This was a classic case of overcharging.  Chauvin maybe manslaughter although even that is a stretch but possibly justified.  The other three should be acquitted of all charges.  This released footage is also going to change the narrative a bit and the trial is going to lead to more riots, the goal of AG Elison in the first place.  What a mess......

It will be Rodney King all over again - when they do not get the verdict they want the riots and looting will start all over again - as designed.

He did not have to die, he could have quit resisting arrest and said he was hopped up on a cocktail of drugs and got the medical attention he needed before he went to jail - but in his drug induced insanity he decided that he was in control of the situation and decided to just keep doing what he wanted and making excuse after excuse in the hopes that the officers would turn him loose if he made a big enough stink instead of accepting that his decisions was getting him a ticket back to jail.

I had read early on that they had him in the car, and had wondered how he wound up on the ground to even get a knee on him.

I didn't provide one.  I think the UK Guardian has it.  It will not be shown by the govt media complex because it will show the police officers in a totally different light and undo the media narrative and the BLM/Antifa violence.

They did all they could to get this guy under arrest without any harm to him.  They were pleasant and professional and he was unhinged and in order for them to get him under.  However, it is abundantly clear from the bodycam that he was having cardiac issues as a result of resisting arrest and not from police brutality, again likely a result of the cocktail of drugs in his system.  After watching that and knowing nothing else about the case, I might only be willing to convict for reckless endangerment and only for Officer Chauvin.  This guy died as a result of his own actions, taking drugs and resisting arrest.

It’s only on Fox News website.  That’s why you can’t find it!

That was probably it.  Definitely changed my views on this case quite a bit.  There is a reason that has not been released to the general public.  Bet it was leaked by the defense and for good reason.

I watched this, this morning, and the light went on for me too - he was in a car, so why was he suddenly claustrophobic?  I don't know about the drugs in his system, I thought that the ME said he had a drug in his system, but that was really only an indication that he had taken it in the last few days.  Surely having Chavon's knee in his neck didn't enhance his chances of survival, because he was drunk.  You know, I watch a lot of videos, and there seems to be a practice to say "I can't breathe" as soon as they are handcuffed - maybe in his case he really coudn't breathe, but if the police hear it all the time, perhaps they don't take it seriously.  And you notice right away that he starts saying "don't shoot me" - that's enough to get the bystanders filming.  If he had just gotten into the car and didn't resist arrest, he would have been alive today.

There is no doubt in my mind that the cop with the knee on his neck is going to be convicted.  I don't expect the others to be, or if they are, it will be much reduced charges.

While I agree Chauvin will likely be convicted if it is anything more than manslaughter it will be a travesty of justice.  Even manslaughter is a stretch but seems likely although reckeless endangerment seems more appropriate. Just a clarification, the autopsy indicated he had heart disease, was intoxicated with fentanyl and had meth in his system indicating recent use. Interestingly the ME did not find evidence of asphyxiation or strangulation.  The guy was dying long before Officer Chauvin showed up.

And I 100% agree with you that had Floyd not been whacked out on drugs and resisted arrest he would be alive today.  Heck, had he not committed a crime by passing off a counterfeit bill he would still be alive, doing drugs and holding a gun to the stomach of a pregnant woman threatening to shoot her unborn baby while his fellow perps robbed her.  And this is a guy being held up by the left as some saint.  I don't think so.

I have read that BLM was just looking for a black, unarmed male to portray as a victim, to launch their real campaign.  It was going to happen sooner or later.  They didn't care aoout him, they just needed someone to portray as a victim, to poor blacks and to get them to follow.  Who knows, maybe they set him up with the fake $20.

He's certainly no hero.  Thanks for the correction - he was high on booze and fentynal, with meth in his system - I couldn't quite remember what he said that he had in his system that could be still there a few days later.  I don't think his family really cared all that much - but they're going for a huge settlement with the city of Minneapolis.

It's rather like what they have done with John Lewis.  He got hit in the head on the Pettis Bridge, and parlayed that into a polical career, where he sat for 30 years and didn't do much of anything.  Now he is being hailed as a hero, bigger than MLK.  Just like them setting up Biden.  There is an invisible hand, to keep things stirred up and to influence the election.  It's pretty scary when you think about it.

Agree with every single word of your post.  Apparently people have OD'd and died on less fentynal than he had in his system and one of its symptoms is depressed respiratory system.......I can't breathe!!!  He overdosed on fentynal and was dying when he resisted arrest.  As far as the invisible hand, my vote is George Soros who I believe is a traitor and funds terrorism and should be in prison.

I think that Vlad The Impaler and Xi may have a hand in this as well.  Just my suspicious nature.
