So now he says that other than notable exceptions all black people think the same but them Hispanics are diverse in how they think.....at least he didn't say they also look alike....but I'll bet he was thinking it.  There is no way there are going to let him participate in debates with Trump.  They simply cannot.

I will go on to state that I am getting concerned that we are setting expectations so low that even if he shows up he will look good in comparison to the very, very low expectations.

Trump had another dimentia driven interview on HBO then called FOX and really screwed up with a 53 minute call of conspiracies  and lies.

The guy is a mess and needs to retire. Wait,  if he retires he maybe indicted in NY and end up  looking for Cuomo to pardon him..

I would rather have as President a guy that knows what he is saying over someone that doesn't even know where he is half the time.  There is a big difference between not liking what he's saying versus scratching your head and trying to figure out mumbling, nonsensical gibberish.  And yes, I do have BDS because it appalls me to think this is the best the Democrat party can come up with, a senile geriatric or a geriatric socialist.

I wonder if we are being set up with a paper candidate.  You notice he keeps pushing out his time to announce his running mate.  At the end of the day will he actually be the candidate or is there a surprise in the works?

Well, it is what it is.   He knows the facts - he also knows that there isn't much that can be done until the vaccine rolls out.  Trumps roll out response to COVID is like Obama's roll out of the ACA - a mess.  But Trump has no control over the virus and Obama had total control over the roll out of the ACA.

And I would also add that the first line of defense in the situation like a pandemic is at the state and local level.  And we see how states like NY and NJ (run by Democrats) were an abject failure with tens of thousands of needless deaths while states like GA, FL, TX and others did it exactly right by flattening and extending the curve.  NY and NJ have the highest death rate per million in the entire world and are almost three times higher than the next highest country.  But while Democrats were focused on their faux impeachment the Trump administration were limiting flights from China, mobilizing NIH, allocating funds for a vaccine and so on.  Could they have done more?  Of course.  Did they do infinitely more than Obama did in response to the H1N1 pandemic in 2009?  Irrefutably yes.  Did they do something while Democrats failed at their coup attempts?  Dang right they did and maybe if he wasn't being attacked on a constant basis he could have done more.
