You said the "pull out" of the federal "toops" had stopped the vioent riots in Portlandia.  Tell us more about that please.  Everybody loves a good Fairy Tale, especially ones with happy endings, like the taking down of the Netflix inspired sheild wall.

Please enlighten us as to what we are seeing.  Us unwashed need to know.  We so want to believe you, but we have eyes, ears, and connected brain cells in between them so its a hard sell.  I'm sure you can explain it to us.

What nauseated me was when the Portland mayor addressed the rioters who were baricading city, state and fed(?) employees in a building, utilizing fire accelerants and attempting to set said building aflame.  Rather than stating publically that their actions were reprehensible,  grotesque, and that the lives they put at risk he was responsible for protecting, lives that were associated with wives, husbands, children, grandchildren, he whined to them to avoid these types of behaviours because "they may end up in a Trump campaign video".  To get elected on the west coast for any office, cerebral qualifications are not high on the list of attributes that voters demand of their candidates before pulling the voting trigger.
