Remember where you were,  the agreement announced yesterday will literally make history for the beginning of peace in the Middle East!  Can you imagine how that region of the world can become a major player in the world economic scene!  The media has either not reported it or minimize the importance.  Stay tuned!

Time will tell but if other Arab countries follow suit it will isolate Hamas/Hezbolla and Iran which can only be good.  You can tell how good it is by who's complaining the most...terrorists.

I hope it works out, but I am skeptical.  I remember the Camp David Accords and how that treaty was supposed to bring peace to the Middle East.  Almost 40 years later and things are pretty much the same, if not worse.  Hopefully this is a new era, but I have my doubts.

Camp David Accords were only to bring peace between Egypt and Israel, which it accomplished.  Carter basically paid them off with billions, not to fight.  They still get the payments.  Israel also got an even sweeter deal - because they were supposed to buy their military equipment from the U.S., except for things that were "uniquely" Israeli requirements.  Funny, but the next thing was that all of their requirements suddenly became unique to them and they built up their defense businesses and compete with US contractors in the international marketplace.  I was an Israeli desk officer for the Army in Communications/Electronics back then.
