if you are promising free college tuition--I'd like my reparatioins for putting 2 through 4 yr  undergrad& 2 years grad school--thats close to $300,000.00 -not counting what i would have made had that money been invested; sounds good to me; pm me for my address to send the check

You are all about greed....where is my free money? First you brag how much money you make and how many businesses you have owned. Then, you bitch about spending it for your kids education. Time to stand up and be proud that you could afford to give them an higher education. Sounds like you are putting a quilt trip on them.

If they start making college free - that means that every kid will go (even those who would be much better off learning a trade), getting degrees in subjects that won't make them qualified for anything (philosphy degree?) and they'll languish around for 4-6 years until they discover they bliss.... 

I say put pressure on the schools to lower their overhead to reduce tuition, but gettng a free ride to college, is just a recipe for disaster.

Tuition is so high today because parents have to pay double to offer scholatships (free rides) for all of GOOF's g-kids!
