According to the top UK epidemiologist and key advisor to the UK government.  Said they did far more harm than good, didn't change the trajectory of the virus, were a panic reaction and should never happen again.  He called waiting for a vaccine as a hope and not a strategy.  Said we need to open schools and focus on protecting the elderly and vulnerable.....ya know, what I have been saying from pretty much the beginning of this madness.

Meanwhile, as things continue to open up in states run by scientifically literate Governors the number of cases and deaths continue to decline.  And judging by Atlanta traffic things are getting much closer to normal.....who are all these people on my roads?!?!?!?

I don't envy you a bit, MM.  I commuted from Peachtree City to the Perimeter Mall area for almost 15 years.  And I am quite sure the traffic has only gotten worse in the last few years, 2020 being the exception, of course.

You should be glad you're not making that drive now.  They are working on the I-285 and GA-400 intersection right now.  Here's hoping it improves things because that is a much used and wildly undersized connector.  I-75 has been better since the toll lanes have been added.  The connector downtown is still a disaster......who thought it was a good idea to bring two significant interstate highways together in the downtown of a large city?!?!?!?
