What an amazing contrast between the DNC and RNC.  The DNC was dark, relentlessly negative, offered nothing but Orange Man Bad and  had the production quality of a 3rd grade play.  It featured billionaires and wealthy celebrities, the RNC featured regular people with compelling stories.  The speeches were fantastic, upbeat and focused on what is great about America and why the election of Harris/Biden.......yes, Harris will be in charge, not dementia Joe, will be a disaster for the country.  The President's unscripted meetings with first responders and hostages were excellent and demonstrated what he has accomplished for the country.  And their appeal to black Americans will resonate, as Van Jones admitted on cnnBS.  And unlike the DNC, they did not ignore the violence, rioting and looting, the defunding of police and the fact that the democrat party is being run by Socialists who want to rule our lives and ruin the country.

It was night and day......from darkness to light.........from evil to good.......pessimistic and negative to optimistic and positive.  It offered something the Democrats will never offer...a better vision for the country and the policies to get there.  Made me so proud to be a conservative.

First night of DNC had 76,000 views.  First night of RNC had 440,000 views.  For those of you that mathematically challenged that is almost 6 times more viewers than the first night of the DNC.  This usually is a hint of voter enthusiasm.  We'll see what the ratings are on the networks. Speaking of which, cnnBS showed more of the RNC than FoxNews.  I switched over to cnnBS several times when Fox talked over the speeches.  Very strange for the network that is supposedly in the bag for Trump.  C-Span of course carried it soup to nuts with no talking heads.  That's where I will be tonight.

Speaking of talking heads, if you want an idea of the level of panic setting in watch Donna Brazille go beserk on Tammy Bruce on Fox.  She was literally unhinged and simply refused to let Tammy Bruce answer her points.  She didn't want an answer.  Sorry Dems, you don't get a do-over on your convention and that's what you get when you turn it over to out touch elitist celebrities that are vaucuous and unfunny.

Totally agree with your synopsis of the opening night of the Republican Convention. The selection of the speakers and the "subjects" chosen for their presentation to the "people" of this great country were "overwhelming". I don't know if anyone else may have had the same reaction as I did, but I thought the way that FOX News "presenters" offered their feedback while the "speakers" were actually engaged in their speech detracted from being able to hear every "word" the speakers presented. I would change channels from time to time to CNN and the "entire" speech was being delivered without any interruptions! Also, I found it interesting that Laura Ingraham had interviews with Hershel Walker, Andrew Pollack whose young daughter Meadow Pollack was murdeered at Parkland, Florida High School, and others who provided support on the re-election of President Trump for President of the United States. "GO TRUMP"!!!!!!!.
