Watched a video clip of one incident of the "peaceful" protest in DC over the weekend.  It took Park police, regular police and police with riot control gear to control a crowd of protesters, after they pulled over a black woman for a traffic violation.  Arrests were made, people were screaming.  As they carted away some of those arrested, someone yelled "look what you have done.  This was a peaceful protest".  In the end one lone black gun with a bull horn was screaming at the police that they should be ashamed being police and their mothers shoud be ashamed as she raised them.  

I guess my idea of a "peaceful" protest and what passes for a peaceful protest today are not the same thing.  Wouldn't be a cop in DC right now for $1M dollars a year.

Picky, picky. An intelligent person would understand a single letter change would make "gun" read "guy" and thus the sentence make perfect sense.

My daughter son in law & grand live in DC-I worry constantly for their safety-son in law has stopped riding METRO rail to work at WH - says its too dangerous

I do think it is dangerous in DC now and I would not get on the Metro either.  The Green line runs out of Southeast, and it crosses with other lines in Metro Center.  Right now it would seem like it is mob mentality.  

I think most of us don't realize to what extent this is going on.  The media doesn't cover the violence.  A friend of mine in Chicago spent her day baking cookies for her local precent, and they told her they are working 12 hour shifts.
