Mayors propose, promote, sign contracts and sign checks for thousands of projects which create thousands of real jobs.  An added positive is that the contractors and subs actually get paid for their work rather than stone walled, cheated and threatened with lawsuits ala Trump.

Now, that I have answered your question please answer mine...what the heck does your question have to do with Trump's tax problems?

to use the tax code to their maximum legal limits for their own fiscal benefit.  I do not advise them to deduct $750,000 as a business consulting fee deduction for money paid to a daughter for doing nothing, nor do I advise claiming a personal residence that produces no rents or income as a business property and deduct all expenses as business deductions, nor do I feel it completely kosher to deduct $70,000 for haircuts!

Now CRD, its an actual answer time...even with your army of accountants and tax consultants did you manage to pay zilch for 10 years and a grand suffocating $750 for 2 years in a row?

It is not a crime to offset losses against income, a fact that has been true for decades.  Tax avoidance is legal Archie.  Tax evasion illegal.  The NYT's did not even approach evidence supported evasion.  Obama said back losses can ride for 4 years.  Trump actually hurt himself when he rescinded that loophole. 

How do you know what was actually done for the consulting fees?  Oh that's right, you don't but the NYT's said ithere was no work done so therefore it must be true.  If whoever claims the consulting fees as income, then they pay taxes on it.  Actually the gov't comes out ahead, which is what you desire, right Archie?
