Trump is taking dexamethasone which is a corticisteroid.

The RECOVERY trial provides evidence that treatment with dexamethasone at a dose of 6 mg once daily for up to 10 days reduces 28-day mortality in patients with Covid-19 who are receiving respiratory support. We found no benefit (and the possibility of harm) among patients who did not require oxygen. “

One of the results from taking a steroid is a feeling of exuberance while taking it. It gives you alot of energy that he maybe experiencing  as he has said he feels better than he has in the last 20 years.

You can’t suddenly stop taking the drug as your adrenal gland stops producing cortisol when on the drug. You have to taper off it to give the adrenal gland time to once again produce cortisol. While taking the drug, one of the issues is a big appetite and mood swings.

Let us hope he does not relapse as he tapers off.

Having been on the same med/dosage for allergies and a few bad cases of sinusitis over my life and have used it on and off for at least 30 years for various issues and once was on it for well over a month - You could not be more full of chit if your eyes were the proper shade of brown.

You need to spend less time on left wing news sites - they can not be good for your heart with all the ups and downs(mostly downs) at your age.  I feer that when Trump gets reelected you might just have to call an ambulance to handle your disappointment.

The very amusing observation about this whole episode is to see all the physicians with differing opinions who the liberal idiot media seek out for negative comments about Trump’s treatment.  Egos, egos.  Publish or perish!!  Notice all the liberal docs with negative comments on treatments are college professors.......remember your professors??  The ones that couldn’t make a living in the real world!!!

Seen lots of doctors and pharmacists that have debunked this nonsense.  Amazing what the left does with their fake news.  Don't blame Goofy....he is just another low information type....sadly, they can vote.
