Subject:	Kamala Harris laughs

Watched the interviews last night with Biden and then Harris.  I really think Nora O'Donnell, CBS, should get more interview opportunities, since she managed not to fawn over Biden and Harris.  Biden was his usual "folksy, nice guy" who says a bunch of nothing, but the more interesting interview was with Harris.  Interesting to observe how often she laughs when asked a serious question.  She laughed when it was stated that she was one of the most liberal in the Senate.  Laughed when asked about the Green Deal and Medicare for all.  O'Donnell made the point that Biden claims he doesn't support these things and she laughed again.  Then she gave some weasel worded response that it was the "deal" with her and Biden that she would speak her mind, and that he intended for her to be his "right hand".  Said she would always be the first in the room and the last one to leave.... Is Biden going to be one of those "last opinion expressed" is the one he goes with???  

Politics aside, I don't feel good about her.  She's not likable.

And it is grating.  One of many reasons she didn't even make it to the first primary before she folded up her tent.  Frankly, she was the VP pick because she fit all check boxes as opposed to actually being a good candidate or more importantly, a good choice to be one heart beat away.  This is what you get when you promise a VP based on gender or race instead of qualifications.  This may be the first Presidential race where the VP is actually important and on that note, she will not attract many fair minded Independents and may repel many more.

During the debate, Pence rqther than answer the tough questions, just recited a canned rally speech that had nothing to do with the question. They are all either politicians or liers.

But only one of them has this incredibly annoying cackle and a deer in the headlights look when the media makes a random act of journalism and points out that Harris is indeed the most liberal Senator.  And think about it.  More liberal than the avowed socialist Bernie Sanders.  More liberal than Fauxahontas.  More liberal than Diane Feinstein and Chuckie Schumer.  That is something to behold to be more liberal than some of the most liberal Senators in the history of this country.

But Pence is a known quantity - he has been in politics for many years and he sticks to the message.  She is an relative unknown outside of California.  You would think she would want people to warm to her and build trust with them.  Pence doesn't cackle or act smug, but Harris does.  

You know, most women would love to see a female VP or even a female president, but most of us would like it to be someone who has experience.  For the life of me, I can't see what Harris is bringing to the table - except that she is black and very liberal.
