To admit it was a hoax would mean that Obama and Hillary lied about all 17 or so intelligence services having seen the evidence and 100% supported Hillary in her attempted coup.

It is sad that he actually has to announce how many "minority" people are on his Thanksgiving list, as if that just proves he is not a bigot/racist- vs it just shows that he is so uncomfortable just being family or friends that he has to indicate that he has an appropriate level of some magic list of approved checkboxes.   Gotta make sure to play racial/sexual/minority check box game to feel good about yourself.
