I currently have Verizon at the lake and I'm thinking of switching to At&T. Any thoughts of coverage at the lake blue creek area still waters area.

I would stay with Verizon.  Works all over lake for us.

Assuming you are talking about cell not landlines, I would agree that on this side of the lake (I'm in Holiday Shores) Verizon is a much better choice.

We had used them for many years, hotspot service was spotty in peak season but cell calls and text solid. A couple years ago I changed to ATT as part of job and the coverage sucks. As in can't receive or make calls sucks, unless on wifi calling at our cabin.

There are some places on lake where ATT is good, but Verizon was good almost everywhere.

We have AT&T for cell service and the only people that get good coverage when they visit us (Sandy Creek area) have Verizon.  I think you will find AT&T not at all satisfactory for cell service in the Lake Martin area.

You might also look at Charter/Spectrum.  They are piggy-backing off Verizon's signal.  I'm probably going to change when my contract is up with Verizon.

I'm in the Kowaliga area and ATT is horrible. There is one "sweet spot" at our house where ATT phones will work. When our guests with ATT complain about cell service we tell them to go to the corner of the deck by the picnick table for one or two bars....maybe.  Our guests with Verizon have good service.

Verizon.  I had ATT for three horrible months.  Verizon works all over the lake.  ATT works at my mailbox if the wind and sun conditions are just right...lol.

Just changed to Spectrum and cut my bill in half from Verizon, and still have Verizon.  Changed from AT&T about 8 years ago.  All family who visit have AT&T and they have terrible service around the lake.

after having AT&T for like 15 years I switched to Verizon. I can find a spot here or there that AT&T is better but On the balance, Verizon is much, much better.
