In the aftermath of pro-Trump rioters storming the Capitol seeking to stop the January 6 certification of Biden's win, the first-term Missouri Republican senator has faced a barrage of criticism over his decision to contest the results of Pennsylvania -- with Senate Democrats calling on the Senate Ethics Committee to investigate his actions and others calling on him and GOP Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas to resign.
But Hawley has said he has "no" regrets, telling CNN: "I was very clear from the beginning that I was never attempting to overturn the election."
Yet before January 6, Hawley didn't rule out the possibility that Congress could throw out the electoral results and keep Trump in office. On January 4, Hawley was asked by Fox News: "Are you trying to say that as of January 20th that President Trump will be president?" He responded to anchor Bret Baier: "Well, Bret that depends on what happens on Wednesday. I mean this is why we have the debate. This is why we have the votes."
Hawley repeatedly declined to say Congress wouldn't be able to change the results of Biden's win.

Care to go all through all the times Demonrats objected to state electors during every republican presidental win back through RR? Guess they were trying to overturn those elections as well - see a few current demonrat names on there. Tell you what - lets play the game - ours will resign if yours do. Anyone who has ever objected to electoral votes in congress can pack their bags and be banned from ever holding office again.
What do you stand for? Apparently just being mouthy about republicans when you need to replace those windows in your glass house.

The Facts
In the 2016 presidential election, Trump won 304 electoral votes to Hillary Clinton's 227. During the joint session on January 6, 2017, seven House Democrats tried to object to electoral votes from multiple states.
According to a C-SPAN recording of the joint session that took place four years ago, the following House Democrats made objections:
- Jim McGovern (D-Mass.) objected to Alabama's votes.
- Jamie Raskin (D-Md.) objected to Florida's votes.
- Pramila Jayapal (D-Wash.) objected to Georgia's votes.
- Raul Grijalva (D-Ariz.) objected to North Carolina's votes.
- Sheila Jackson Lee (D-Texas) objected to the votes from North Carolina in addition to votes from South Carolina and Wisconsin. She also stood up and objected citing "massive voter suppression" after Mississippi's votes were announced.
- Barbara Lee (D-Calif.) brought up allegations of Russian interference in the election and malfunctioning voting machines when she objected following the announcement of Michigan's votes.
- Maxine Waters (D-Calif) rose and said, "I do not wish to debate. I wish to ask 'Is there one United States senator who will join me in this letter of objection?'" after the announcement of Wyoming's votes.

I say bury them in it. We listened for 4+ years to every whine and bitch, while they claimed it was fair because Trump was Hitler and others complained about Obozo.
Gfy and Antifatech were still lately posting about Trump/Russia which now we have seen the documented proof that it was Hillary/DNC/Obozo BS to alter an election. What they did was 1000s of times worse then objecting to electoral votes ( which the dems have done in every presidential election that they lost in the last 30 years)
They want to say Trump and his people stormed the capital, well fine when Pelosi, Kameltoe the Ho and the rest who raised funds and supported 'fiery but peaceful protests" while federal buildings were being burnt, smashed and lives lost - they should fair no better and be banned from government jobs.

They think they know what is better for us - to say, to eat, how to live, what we should care about, and they don't mind taking our money - the money that we worked for, saved and invested to keep us from being dependent, to pay for it.
I heard the other day that they are talking about stepped up taxable value again. What I mean is this - if you inherit the house that your parents paid $100,000 for, that is now appraised for $400,000 and you sell for $450,000, you now owe taxes on $350,000, instead of $50,000.
We knew that if Biden was elected, it would be Obama Part III and now we have it. All Biden's appointees are Obama retreads. It'll make it easier for Harris when she and Obama force Biden out and then Obama helps her run the country. God help us.

Can't anyone defend him? Maxine should retire. Feinstein should retire. Defend Hawley and the article. The truth is there is no defense for his actions and denial. A real man would admit it and move on. Bringing up Democrats does not provide a defense for Hawley. All it does is show you don't like Dems. We know that....so the bottom line is you agree with me.
